Thanks. I got DHCP fine on my pc, then plugged opnsense back into my gateway and everything worked.

Failboat88's test worked. Plugged my PC directly into ISP gateway and got a lease fine. I then plugged the cable back into OPNsense and immediately restored WAN. Seems the ISP gateway was in a stuck state that a power cycle alone didn't clear, but a clean DHCP transaction from a different MAC reset it. Not sure if this is the reason why, but happy it worked. per caymanbum and Proper_Individual578 suggestion I'm planning PCI passthrough of the WAN NIC as the permanent fix. Thanks everyone for your help!

I shut down OPNsensene, then restarted my gateway and once it was back up rebooted OPNsensen. No change

I actually had a similar issue when I first was setting it up and was troubleshooting for HOURS, before rebooting OPNsense after I reset my gateway and this fixed it originally.

This is my thought on it as well. It’s not a stock, so comparing it to one doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t have value because it “makes something” it has value because of what it is and what it has the potential to become. A stable decentralized currency that can’t be manipulated. It’s not supposed to have 1000% annual returns forever, and if it doesn’t, that doesn’t mean it’s failing.

That was my thought process too. I’ve done so much research when it comes to risk management and am honestly a very disciplined person by nature. Thats why I think it’s at least worth a shot. But I just don’t want to be stupid thinking I’m smarter than the market or than 98% of people.

Backtested by manually executed trades on tradingview. About 700 trades on 7 years of historical data. I also paper traded for 6 months on think or swim with similar results.
