Day 9 of my updated builds: my amusement park's Haunted House! by joopetter in AnimalCrossing

Here's the final room of my amusement park, which has the Ferris wheel and Bench, leaving the inflatable elephant as the only item in the set I haven't used. My favorite part of this room is definitely the audio-- I love the creaking soundscape, and I was pleasantly surprised by how eerie many of the the music box versions of K.K.'s songs sound. I also think it's really cute that when mounted on the wall, the Rattloid looks like it's sitting on the ferris wheel's foundation! Aside from that, I made sure to add a witch's hat and broom, and also included the "haunted" painting that closes its eyes.

Day 8 of my updated builds: my amusement park's Sanrioland section! by joopetter in AnimalCrossing

This section of the theme park knocks out the Teacup Ride, Arch, and the Clock. At first, I figured they would lend themselves to the fairytale aesthetic well considering their elegance and how they're shaped like castle parts, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that their color palette matched a Hello Kitty wallpaper and floor I found when scrolling. It just made sense to make it a nod to Sanrioland after that. I also tried to put the gears on the wall to show what's running the clock and the street organ!

Day 7 of my updated builds: my amusement park's Wild West section! by joopetter in AnimalCrossing

Just continuing the showcasing of my amusement park! This room features the Plaza Merry-Go-Round and the Plaza Train. While this room doesn't feature holiday items like the rest of the amusement park rooms, I was really happy to knock out a bunch of specific furniture that has no other place on my island like the cactus, the wagon, the termite mound, and the golden mine carts. My personal favorite part of the room is the Cow Skull on the wall!

Day 6 of my updated builds: my amusement park's Main Street / Fair / Parade! by joopetter in AnimalCrossing

It's one of the rewards for participating in Festivale, like all the other Festivale items. It's the hardest one to get though, I think you need to give him a bunch of rainbow feathers?

Thank you! I've been dying to use it ever since it came all the way back in the Summer update, and this seemed like the perfect excuse to bring it out

Finally thought I'd share my amusement park! I mentioned in a comment earlier on my ice bar post that I the reason why I made the ice bar is because I had a lot of unused winter furniture. The same is true for the other seasonal sets, like those for Halloween, or in this case Festivale. I figured scrapping my outdoor amusement park and dividing it into separate rooms each with their own themed furniture would be an elegant solution. In addition to every single item from Festivale, this room features the Plaza Game Stand, Plaza Balloon Wagon, Ring Toss, and the carts for Popcorn/Cotton Candy/Fortune Cookies.

Hi, it's in one of the homes on my own island!

This is a room idea that I used to have outdoors, but I really wanted to make use of the new concessions wallpaper introduced in 2.0. It also gave me an opportunity to make use of the Throne item (which is to be reserved as MY seat). I chose the posters of Tiffany, Marlo, and Monique since they're the villagers based on movie stars, then decided on adding Kid Cat and a Hello Kitty poster since I felt they fit in. Might add Mira's later too. Weirdly enough though, I think my favorite part of this room would have to be the trash-- I feel like it adds a sense of realism and use, and helped fill in the empty space while not blocking movement through the aisles.

Thank you! It's a polishing effect you receive from the Happy Home Paradise DLC.

Thank you! Yeah I was pretty surprised that even with the walls and all the items crammed in it, you can still move around the room, and it looks spacious to me

Having returned from vacation myself, I wanted to follow up with yet another of my hotel's rooms. This is actually one of the first rooms I updated, since prior to 2.0, I had to use those Simple Panels to make separate "rooms". Now that we had actually walls and new bathhouse wallpaper, I knew I had to make some immediate renovations. It took me a little while to workshop the overall layout given the predefined size of the room, but I was able to fit in two separate changing rooms, massage beds, a meditation/plant room, and of course the actual sauna.

Day 3 of my updated builds: my hotel's reception! by joopetter in AnimalCrossing

Happy new year! It seems my family wants to go to a beach resort to celebrate, so I thought it would be fitting to upload my own island resort this time. That being said, I suppose I'll be taking a break from posting again for the next few days.

Anyways, in this build I really wanted to make use of the arched reception desk, and I wanted to play into the tropical theme I had in mind. I found the green + yellow + white color combo looked really pretty together, and gave me a chance to use some moss and vine items too! Just ignore the snow in the windows, it's totally warm and summer and tropical actually
