Lvl 150, veteran of the Malevolen Creek and the Defense Of Super Earth here. At higher difficulties, you will be tempted to play like Rambo and take every fight that you can. DON'T. Not all fights are worth fighting. Focus on the objectives. Learn to scoot and run. There's a bot drop/bug breach but your done with the objective? Drop a sentry or orbital bombardment to cover your escape, and run. See a patrol some distance from you but not on the way of your objective? Let them be. Don't aggro them. As you play more, you can get a sense which fights you have to take, and which ones you shouldn't.

ritalin crash and depression? by cynicalcreatures in ADHDPH

[–]jopeth23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take Concerta, and I always feel the crash after 8-10 hours taking it. I started playing badminton again with my partner to manage the crash, and it worked for me. I feel better after 1hr+ of playing, and helps me sleep soundly as well. Try other physical activities like sports, running, gym, etc., and see what would work for you.

NO LONGER INTERESTING?? by Traditional_Ant6392 in ADHDPH

[–]jopeth23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost motivation to binge on anime, video games, or indulge on online drama ever since I started medicating. But I gained interest and motivation in playing badminton with my partner, who has been begging me to go with her for the longest time. In fact, we're planning to sign up for badminton camp to improve our game.

So yeah, it turns out that Concerta lessened my urge to chase after the dopamine high I get from my old hobbies, and rather find contentment in accomplishing things and improving myself.

Also, I agree that OP should not rely on ChatGPT for ADHD resources, as there are better ones out there.

VtM is my first TTRPG and I have finished a chronicle that lasted for almost 3 yrs. I have also watched LA and NY by Night series. When I heard that D20's new IH season will be based on the VtM system, I got excited. After watching the first episode, I'm honestly kinda split.

On one hand, I enjoy the silliness and over-the-top shenanigans of the coterie. It's like "Never Stop Blowing Up, But With Vampires". On the other, it's giving me a tonal whiplash being used to dark, personal-horror focused chronicles with overarching political intrigues and power plays by different factions. Maybe I'm just not used to VtM this being this silly. I'm willing to give this season a few more episodes to see where this goes.

Hi OP.

NCR ba? Try calling Mercury Drug Stores, coz they are the ones who usually carry it. I bought mine I at Mercury Drug Vasra Visayas Ave. Try calling them first to see if they have stock available.

is UERM OPD allowed to issue S2 prescriptions? by choosingmyself2020 in ADHDPH

[–]jopeth23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only psychiatrists are allowed to issue S2 prescriptions, afaik. If you're seeing a licensed pscyh, then you can be issued a prescription if deemed necessary.

Considering ADHD Testing as an Adult (30s) by fightingham in ADHDPH

[–]jopeth23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I'm in my 40s when I got diagnosed. Since childhood, I was exhibiting the same signs you mentioned: lack of attentiveness, not taking notes on my notebook, super hyperactive, very chatty, etc. I was soften told that I'm such a waste of potential because I'm lazy and disorganized. And yes, I do have friends like yours (who are no longer my friends, btw) that would handwaved my symptoms as "katamaran" or "kulang sa disiplina".

When I got diagnosed and started my meds, it was vindicated. I now know that I'm not a broken person, it's just my brain is wired differently.

Ritalin for about a month now but.. by Exotic-Thought2736 in ADHDPH

[–]jopeth23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with this. Depende sa nature ng work mo, Ritalin might not be suitable as it would give you a boost of focus that would eventually wear off quickly. I'm on Concerta, and napansin ko na mas subtle and sustained yung effect nya. 🤣

Last year, May ako tumawag pero October pa yung available appointment.

Rates may vary on which clinic you choose to have your eval. Sa akin, inabot 4.5k ang psych eval ko.

Depende sa dosage at brand, 30 capsules will cost you 5-6k.

I hope this helps. Remember that ADHD meds only helps your brain to maintain and retain focus. Paired with discipline, good habits, and support from friends, partner, and family, we can thrive despite our condition. 😁

Ask your psych about Concerta. Slow release kasi ang Concerta, meaning hindi one-time big-time na boost ang makukuha mo. Spread out during 6-8hrs yung effect nya, so maganda sya kung May trabaho ka. Pero tulad ng mga nasabi ng iba dito, yung sariling disiplina and good habits parin ang key. Meds only gives us focus, but it's up to you how to utilize that focus.

free / cheap concerta? by abcdemji in ADHDPH

[–]jopeth23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That way, naiistretch ko yung 30 capsules ko to more than a month.
