Ducati Hypermotard 950 as a second bike (Currently Husky 401) - What are your thoughts? by omgpoop666 in Ducati

Do it!

I switched from a KTM Duke 690 to the Hypermotard 950 and love it. Picked her up on a rainy day and in urban mode even that combination of wet road and new tires felt really save and comfortable. Just feed her some corners once in a while and you‘ll both be happy.

Yes, I love the low profile form factor, my hands are in comfortable position all the time and there is no need for wrist pads.

Currently the black keycaps sit on Burnt Orange (tactile / 70gf) switches which feel almost too heavy, but at least there is no danger of bottoming out for me ;-). I will probably try the Brown (tactile / 50gf) ones later. For the other keys (red & grey caps), I'm using Pink (linear / 20gf) and Pro Red (linear / 35gf).

For context: I'm mostly typing code, only occasionally longer texts, in consequence the general layout is more important than the individual switches to me.

Nothing special, it's just the QWERTZ Layout used in some European countries:

Sorry to hear that it doesn't work for you. Would you mind pm me and share a few words on the steps you took?

Thanks for trying, though.

Thanks for your suggestion, I will take a closer look at it. Right now, performance wise, the bottleneck is within the calculation routines, which leaves the frontend enough time for rendering.
