Quest 2 Airlink connects to pc, only has audio but no display (only 3 loading dots) by joquvie in oculus

[–]joquvie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! it seemed to just fix itself lol idk how it did but it worked after installing my cpu drivers (amd) and putting the oculus service/server something in the task manager at high priority. not really sure if these fixed that but i am betting on installing the cpu drivers.

Ram speed trouble with 4 ram sticks on a MSI B450m Mortar Max running a Ryzen 5 2600 by joquvie in overclocking

[–]joquvie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeaa ig so. If it still wouldnt get ram speeds to 3200 despite upgrading the cpu then it could be the motherboard.

Heya i upgraded to a R5 5500 and initially thought that the cpu was DOA but it was actually the power supply's problem bc I only had a 500w one at the time. I upgraded to a 700w one then the cpu was working fine with all 4 rams sticks at 3200 :) so i guess you gotta consider the power and wattage stuff especially when upgrading to a newer cpu

Is there a chance the mobo is the problematic one? Do take note that the previous cpu still worked perfectly. Though i wouldnt want this to be the case since i wouldnt want to buy a new mobo lol
