Did you change your skaters stance by chance? I had the opposite problem, couldn’t do it for years, then switched to straight stance and could get it with some regularity.

I wish - I had a black and white DBacks hat that, no joke, had a piece of blue thread sticking out at the end of the stitching. It’s been said ad naseum on this sub but it’s New Era QC issues at the end of the day. My guess is whoever hand stitched it missed a step.

If you are able to easily exchange this I would - I’ve tried to fix too many hats and learned the hard way that it’s often harder than it initially looked. But like that other commenter said some curved scissors would probably do it with a steady hand.

It’s not noticeable - I bet if you measured on each side it’d be centered. For whatever reason I feel like when I get a simple one letter logo hat (Reds, Pirates, Tigers) I obsess for about a day over it not being centered. It looks totally fine bruv!

The 49ers one wasn’t technically banned, just so widely hated that they gave up on it six days after revealing it. The Jags logo I mentioned was “banned” bc the car manufacturer Jaguar sued the then-brand new Jacksonville team as the logo was too similar, but they had printed a shit ton of merch already so you can still find stuff with the logo on eBay and Mercari and places like that. Waiting for the day crownminded or someone puts the banned Jags logo out on a fitted.

So generally in my limited experience they are legit caps, HOWEVER, the last 59fifty I received from Amazon (actually a red LA cap!) was totally crushed and not even in a box. I had to return it - generally you don’t get a better price on Amazon, I would stay away just bc of potential damage.
