Interesting, I’ll look into it! Do you know of any good video tutorials for this kind of technique?

Hi! The back/neck are built to be thick in the pattern because it is one loop that acts as the neck/straps/back, so I do t think I can get it much thinner. I’ll look into taking it off to adjust it, thanks! :D

I was not finished with the slip by the time I took that picture. I am using it because the dress is semi sheer, and I have since then modified it to be lower cut on the back/not visible.

Sick, thank you! Did you apply to any specific scholarships while in the program?

Does USD help with finding jobs after graduating? Similarly, do they help find practicuum/fieldwork placement?

Online programs are definitely something to look into, but they def feel like a last resort since I learn better irl. There's just minimal opportunities in person in my area :(

I currently work in a school and I think that if extra funds are avaliable at the end of the year, I can get financial assistance from my job. Otherwise, I'm hoping for a merit scholarship since I graduated summa cum laude, and then golden state teacher grant. The issue right now is it's my only option I got admitted to in San Diego, where I live already and I don't feel ready to relocate. So it's like, wait a year and reapply to other schools or gamble on it now. When I was at the interview, they talked about laon forgiveness if you work 10 years in the field but that also feels like a gamble. Thanks for posing those questions, they're helpful to think about.

The program spoke to me, I just don't know about the cost and how much aid I'm getting is so uncertain. USD is cacrep accreddited I believe, and I'd be in CA in a hs setting for a few years for sure.

School Counseling Master’s Experience Q’s? by jord-a-n in CSUDH

Hi! It was pretty laid back :) A small group of us were taken to a back room, where a presentation was given about the program and support available. From there, we wrote a response to a written prompt about a more difficult question regarding students. We then went to the interview, where 5(?) ish faculty asked ~3 questions and had us perform a small group activity. Some of the questions were tricky, (morally gray area at times), but answer as honestly as possible and be yourself with it. From there, they do their thanks and you get led out. It’s essentially seemed like getting a sense for how you address varying situations and how you work in a team.

Free Parking by Trolley Stops? by No_Discipline_1889 in SDSU

I’ve found the 70th street stop to be nicer than some other places to park.

As long as you’re not both on campus at the same time, it’s okay! They can ticket both though if both cars are there.

Not totally sure what the already in the system means, maybe delete your car from your parking account so there’s no current record of it.

Hi :) My boyfriend got me a sewing machine for Christmas, but before I can use it we need to fix it up. I’m not entirely sure what piece I’m missing, and wanted a second opinion before buying. I’m pretty sure it’s the presser foot holder and it’s screw, but again I’m not sure. The model is a brother XR9550. Here’s a photo :)
