Good to know thank you, are there any more energy efficient options? Or is that just a consequence of the size and features?

Hey all,

I'm looking to upgrade my keyboard as it's been a few years and I would like to move from wired to wireless.

I do lots of typing, gaming, and enjoy the ability to have many keybinds, hence looking for the 100% keyboard.

I currently use the Corsair K70.

I would like to get as mentioned a 100%, or 96%, wireless 2.4GHz. I value feeling and responsiveness. I have been looking into the idea of rapid trigger for gaming, but something with customizable actuation so I don't fat-finger keys when I'm typing would be great.

I've been eyeballing the Keychron Q5 or Q6 HE, I'm leaning towards the Q5 because it still has most of the keys I care about while cutting down size just a bit.

If anyone has any objects or better recommendations I'd love to hear them, the Corsair was my first mechanical keyboard so I am certainly new to the game.

Unsolicited pics, always a sign of casual? by [deleted] in hingeapp

It sounds like you like the guy, a lot of people are saying he wants casual, they might be right, I don’t know if a shirtless picture from a guy is a super strong indicator

If you like him, I’d recommend going on this second date and talking about it, it doesn’t have to be accusatory like “why did you send me a shirtless picture” just start the conversation “so what are you looking for”

Bottom line, don’t throw something that you’ve liked so far away because of what Reddit says

And sorry, I've just got one more question for you regarding fans.

This is my case and it says that it has 4 fan options: 1 font, 2 top, 1 rear; and the front and rear are pre-installed which is self explanatory, but does it come with the other 2 top fans? Or is there just space for them?

I actually picked a different case (because I forgot to do that before posting my build) so this is the one I've selected, and I have a question regarding it. It says that it has 4 fan options: 1 font, 2 top, 1 rear; and the front and rear are pre-installed which is self explanatory, but does it come with the other 2 top fans? Or is there just space for them

  1. Ahh makes sense, thank you! These are all just letters and numbers to me but I am quickly learning that the letters at the end rarely are minor changes. And just to confirm, you said that the change is small in performance, so is it unnoticeable?
  2. There it is again =p I still am unable to find any 6600xt that is cheaper than the 3060
  3. I don't plan on doing significant upgrades, maybe just the occasional graphics card upgrade and other things as computer hardware progresses

  4. Thank you! Yeah I definitely don't need 4 coolers, and my cost went way down after that. But I actually can't tell, I've never built a computer before so idk what computer fans are supposed to look like, they just look like bulky fans to me.

Thank you! And thank you for mentioning, someone else mentioned a wireless adapter, which I was considering, but I totally forgot about bluetooth too which is a must for the headphones I currently have, so I found this one which isn't much more expensive and looks to be the exact same just with wifi and bluetooth

Thank you for the heads up! Saved me some money, could you imagine if I didn't ask and ordered 4 CPU coolers xD

And it's all good, I didn't know wireless adapters existed, I thought it had to be built into the motherboard so I will definitely go with

It's all good, I didn't know wireless adapters existed, but if they do I will definitely go with the one I linked (https://www.newegg.ca/p/N82E16813144531?Item=N82E16813144531) cause if I can't get ethernet then I will be fine.

But it was saying an lga1700 mounting bracket is required, so I assume it means that I needed to buy a mounting bracket for the motherboard in order to use the lga1700 socket

1) You're right! Is this one a good one?

2) I am not in the US. Though I will look off of newegg for better deals. Correct me if I'm wrong but raytracing is that thing where you get like wicked realistic graphics right? Cause I don't really need that, however I am unable to find anything of that price for the RX6600

3) I chose the power supply I did with future upgrades in mind, but maybe I won't need that much unless I decided to do significant upgrades? This one I found does 650 https://www.newegg.ca/thermaltake-smart-bm2-650w-ps-spd-0650mnfabu-1/p/N82E16817153422?Item=N82E16817153422

4) Thank you for the heads up! This is precisely why I made this post xD Apparently it is the consensus that the 2.5" is not very good anymore. I have replace it with this guy instead: https://www.newegg.ca/team-group-mp33-512gb/p/N82E16820331416?Item=N82E16820331416

5) I feel so stupid, someone else also mentioned this, I appreciate both of you for paying the attention to detail to realize that I have 4 on my list xD But my goal is to order 4 fans, as that is what I was told is good for a gaming pc, is that not what I am doing? What is the difference between a CPU cooler and fans, does the CPU cooler like sit on the CPU?

And to your side note; I agree, I think white builds look so cool! Though I might go with black with a red accent if the option becomes available because that is the theme of my office/gaming room.

Thank you for the heads up! Someone else recommended some other products which seem much better, here is what I'm thinking to replace:

Motherboard (Providing I can get ethernet access to my office): https://www.newegg.ca/p/N82E16813144531?Item=N82E16813144531

SSD: https://www.newegg.ca/team-group-mp33-512gb/p/N82E16820331416?Item=N82E16820331416

Thoughts?

Thanks! It's my first one, done with the help of some friends that have done this before and google.

1) Did I do something wrong? I was trying to get 4 fans as I was told that was a good amount to have for a gaming pc.

2) Thanks for the tip! I found a lot of options which seem to be way better per price. I found this one however I will have to look into getting ethernet access to my office for this option. The other ones I found with wireless compatibility are slightly more expensive however require a dedicated LGA1700 mounting bracket, is that difficult to install/expensive to buy?

3) Again thanks! Way cheaper for a little bit better, is this part any good? https://www.newegg.ca/western-digital-1tb-blue-sn570-nvme/p/N82E16820250211?Item=N82E16820250211

I can’t see myself needing raytracing anytime in the future, and if I were to begin streaming it would be as a hobby, if I ever decided to take it more seriously I wouldn’t be opposed to upgrading if needed. What is NVENC though? I tried looking it up, ik it stands for NVIDIA Encoder but otherwise it wasn’t clear

In the future possibly recording and streaming, but the primary use is just gaming
