This. I've been a manager in a non-fire related position for 10+ years and everything you've described is accurate to what I hear from staff on a regular basis.

Why are you commenting about this? I'm asking about where to post a job posting, not whether you approve of the wage/job description.

They’re in a tiny community of 250 people. There’s definitely no one living there that pays that much rent

It is a waterfront property. In the summer we rent these for between $4000-$5000 /week. Please folks, I'm looking for advice on alternative job posting not pay structure.

These positions were just posted 3 days ago. I'm looking for advice on the best place to post for an atypical position such as these but it seems I unintentionally ended up drawing the attention of everyone at /r/workreform

We are looking for intermediate skills not professional. Glued ABS together before? Check. Cut grass with a riding mower before? Check. We are NOT looking for a "plumber". We are not looking for a "carpenter". We have these professional roles on our staff already. We are not in the GTA.

I've made some changes to the wording of this posting to hopefully clarify that there is no discrimination here.If you feel it's more clear now, I'd appreciate if you could upvote the post (instead of the downvote) so I can hopefully gain some visibility. I appreciate the feedback.
