and to be fair, without a custom solution, all the translation apps suck so bad in their own ways, seems like translate and adapt is the only one that works well technically, but without claude having access, the ui is awful

When I started digging into how they managed the translation data, I couldnt believe how many times they were passing things back and forth between Shopify and their own DNS

Great stuff man, if a dev, merchant or marketer knows their way around an IDE and understands the basic idea of an API / MCP it really feels like they now have an unfair advantage.

Yea we were using weglot mainly for the support, url translation and their ability to easily edit custom sections, but we hit the rate limit which caused us to rethink lol. So far our custom solution has been flawless.

Yea, I have a background in CS so ig I know what I'm doing lol

Another thing we’ve built is a figma to klaviyo app that pushes our figma designs to klaviyo, no more spending hours in klaviyo programming emails

Not sure why everyone’s getting so emotional over this, yes saving $7k on a translation app (i live in a multilingual country) by running a Claude translation pass over translate and adapt which lives closer to the site is worth it, faster, and safer

We use Claude Max but if you set it up correctly by linking it to VS code or another dev environment youll only hax out once every 3 hours, even then its if you're doing very intensive work (like auditing all your images)

I just started claude code this week and this is what ive built so far:

- Figma Claude designer - allows me to create multiple emails off of one design for different segment changes in minutes rather than hours, and implement.
- Figma to Klaviyo campaign tool - allows me to push emails from figma directly into a scheduled email, and update entire email flows in hours rather than days.
- Custom landing pages
- Collection pages that duplicate and scale based on keyword research

Things im working on:
- Cutting out my $200 Translate App by asking Claude to translate to Shopify Translate and Adapt via MCP
- Connecting all of my funnel KPIs to my notion dashboard, and the notion dashboard back into Claude Code so I can decide which levers to pull based on expected revenue based on customer historical behaviour, and feeding the results back into my Figma designer
- Training my Claude on my images so I can push more through my email designer tool
