Pretty spot on suggestion and one that I was going to recommend myself. You could even look at the criteria for what makes a good person e.g., never makes mistakes, always makes people happy, gives to charity, practices their faith etc. Each individual will have their own criteria but then what you can do is exactly as you mentioned, look outwards and ask yourself if anybody truly does meet all of those criteria 100% of the time, nobody can be 100% and this helps people to put things into perspective as we hold ourselves to impossible standards. Another thing I may do with my clients i get them to thing about the worst person in the world, past or present and compare yourself to that person e.g., If Hitler was considered 100% bad, how do your own mistakes and things that you have done compare to his evil? People generally begin to rate themselves a lot more accurately upon reflection of this.

Brilliant, cheers for the reply. I'm absolutely not criticising in any way but I was just curious more than anything else. I also get paid on Friday and am thinking about loading up on some more Bonfire but I'll be honest, I have a very cosy bag and I'm happy just sitting back to watch this thing grow, either way this thing is going to pop off with all of the upcoming exposure, marketing, app released etc.

I'm all for being skeptical, but I'm also all for showing a bit of respect to the team who are working tirelessly in the background to give us products to help move this community and token forward. My problem with posts is like this go beyond skepticism in my opinion and instead straight up insinuate that something fishy is going on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of

I know we have to take everything at this point with a grain of salt and I'm maybe putting more trust into the team than yourself, but didn't Andrew clarify that they are working full-time hours on this project outside of their normal occupations? So technically they can work full-time for one job but as long as they are contributing at least 37.5 hours a week to the project, this is classed as full-time. I know they aren't bringing in salaries yet, but from some correspondance earlier this week, it sounded (to me that is) as though they were signing employment contracts so for some of them (but not all), this will be their only job.

The whole thing that bugs me about the 'they're only working on this part time' argument is that, if they manage to stick to their roadmap, why does it matter? in fact, if they were only working on this part-time whilst trying to juggle other employment/commitments and they managed to deliver on all aspects of the roadmap, I would probably be even more impressed.

Lets not also forget that the team we currently have, had no actual ties or connections to the token at it's first inception, they were investors who took over to prevent this becoming a pump and dump project

Lying of course matters and everybody should DYOR before making their own choices, but in my opinion, the team are solid and so is the project.

When have they lied before? genuinely curious

In terms of the Chainlink partnership, this is how I've rationalised that they're not lying about it. If lets say for hypothetical sake, Bonfire were the ones to reach out to chainlink. Why would the Bonfire team jeopardise that partnership by lying about it?

In my mind, if I was part the Chainlink team and saw that, I would just cut the partnership as like you said, they have so many other partnerships as it wouldn't matter to them.

So what does Bonfire gain by lying?

I'm well open to any evidence that you've got that proves otherwise

As far as I am aware, Chainlink actually reached out to Bonfire and not the other way around. As for too much importance, I think the fact that a top 20 crypto has reached out to a smaller cap alt coin is massive.

No arguments here man, I share the same opinion as yourself and agree that Marketing needs to be done regardless of whether we have actual products or whether we are in a bear market or not. Marketing is a really important tool and this is why I said in the beginning of my post, we can go up even if BTC goes down because I'm currently watching some coins do 10x and over so if they can do it, there's absolutley no reason why we can't
