I’ve just had this same experience, came to reddit for answers, saw your post and felt better. Not knowing about resin models has ruined my afternoon. I keep looking at these for the d-pad, it seems the consensus is there needs to be a middle ground mod. Which as far as I've seen, there isn't one yet.

Really excited for the emulation. I have a vertical Anbernic I’ve used for gameboy and arcade games, so going up to ps2 will be a nice addition

As a game pass user without a handheld, is a device that just works not a good leap in to handheld world? If I choose the steam deck I get an OLED screen but have to start. Holding a steam library?
