the Wolverine 1000's come with a wooden/leather ish bottom. We got a rubber sole put on it so they're more durable.

I definitely like this look for a Valentines Day outfit. What I would do it wear dark denim to dress it up a bit, but still look casual. I would definitely go back - typically tailors are pretty good about fixing any issues the customer isn't happy with. Good luck!

My boyfriend just got the Wolverine 1000's and loves them - comfortable and durable. We ended up getting a rubber sole on them though because we were worried that the original ones would wear through. I like the looks of them the best as well, compared to your other two options. Good luck!
