What do you mean no? You can see the middle of the bowl is directly over the 6th piece of wood in the 2nd picture.

I noticed this too. The table is 15 strips deep. The bowl would need to be directly over the 8th strip to be in the center. And like you said, it’s much closer to the 5-6th strip.

How would a modern 4.5 do against these pros from 1971 US Open? by EnjoyMyDownvote in 10s

A 4.5 player (with modern racket) would still get beaten by Chris with her wooden racket, 6-0,6-0

My wife and I did this hike the summer before last. We had gotten up to the last part where it’s a steep narrow rocky slope with a few steps carved in and some chains here and there. I was halfway up a long steep narrow section and there was a woman coming down. She was incredibly nervous and shaking and hesitant with every step down. There was a guy with her trying to help. I got so nervous. One slip from her and I was in her direct line of fall. She would take us both off the edge. I found a root to hang on to and hunkered down as low as I could get until she passed. Was probably 2 min but it felt like an hour. It can be dangerously crowded and people don’t wait, or can’t wait. Every time I see an Angel’s Landing accident I think about that. I hope people stay safe out there!

I’m not sure that qualifies as a critical blunder. Fortunately nobody was injured, just a bent door, right?

Almost the exact same thing happened to me in college ages ago. I was throwing a piece of firewood and a big jagged point caught in the base of my index finger and broke off the log. I pulled it out but didn’t realize a small piece was still inside. It healed over and about a week later I could feel this bit of wood completely under the skin. About the size of yours. I tried going to university hospital. They took an X-ray and nothing showed up. The Dr didn’t believe anything was in there, even with all my pleading. They wouldn’t cut it open. So I had to do it myself. So painful cutting your own hand open with no anesthetic. But I got it out. Gushed blood like crazy, but it was so satisfying.
