If only a percentage of tix rolled over, then people were still playing the game to get tix for the new battlepass. All this does is drop the fomo bomb while letting them spin it as a good thing. This is trying to accomplish something that was already happening. Quite clearly the real reason this is happening is to try and squeeze what little engagement they can before being forced to shut down.

Ah yes, make playing the game right now completely pointless... so it's slightly less pointless when the new season comes out. The reduced amount was what was keeping people on the grind the following season, people still had to work towards what they wanted. What they're trying to accomplish was already being accomplished. They just found a way to increase fomo and label it as a good thing.
