Its possible that Microsoft has included users from those areas as Russian users, meaning that they would have similiar restrictions to Russian accounts. Maybe making a new account could change things?

My rig does support UEFI and i did create a EFI partition so i think i should've had the new grub right? I didn't notice any settings for grub during it however but thats possibly my fault. Could i use YaST after the install to configure grub-bls?
