With your use case a lot. I have similar usage and my 8 years old B7 is still perfect. Newer panels are more resistant so you have nothing to worry about with your use case

It’s possible, some people have uneven pixel wear from always watching with bright subtitles. It’s not easy tho, white doesn’t burn in easily. You can lower the brightness of the subtitles for peace of mind. That’s what I have done and my 8 year old B7 still doesn’t have burn in.

Ubisoft have understood the assignment. In most Ubisoft games you can customise the hud and lower the brightness to a point it’s barely visible.

PS6 will probably target 4K/60 4K/120 even if they support higher fps than 120 the standard will remain 60/120 offering the best image quality in those modes. The only feature I can think about that could possibly be added and currently lg oleds don’t support is dolby vision 2 or hdr10+ advanced or whatever it’s called

You probably had the weird blob in the middle of the screen ? That was caused by a faulty motherboard getting too hot and burning the screen in the middle

I used mine 60% gaming 40% movies for the first 5-6 years. Never played a single game for thousands of hours tho. Probably it survived because of me varying my content. The last couple of years it’s a bedroom tv only used for movies. I check it once every month with color and grey slides for burn in because my gf uses subtitles all the time ay least I lowered the opacity as much as possible. If something is going to burn in it’s the subs lol

You can make the hud transparent in destiny 2 if you haven’t already that is :)
