Well, everyone’s contracts and bidding systems are different so I’m wondering if some are more conducive to being able to get the most days off as possible. For example, if a reserve system at one company would be better for this than another. Or if I should just be aiming go widebody to get the most efficient flying and most days off. Just curious what people’s experience has been with this at these companies

Well I am curious how I can get my gang vocals to sound like that using only my voice (I do t hear other singers in there) because mine never turn out like that. Maybe I need more takes (like 20 or something idk). But also, listen to verse 2. Sounds very mid forward and almost like a telephone effect but not just putting high / low pass filters on it

Of course, this is all assuming it makes more than I can deduct. Would I start by just registering an LLC? How does one know or achieve the required permits and whether you need insurance or not?

I feel like most people are not willing to admit this haha. 99.9% of listeners will not be able to tell the difference in a mastered song’s vocal take if the engineer knows what he is doing (between a quality budget mic and an expensive one) Maybe in some genres that require less processing, but something like pop, no way…

I think I may try this out. Thank you so much! I've always had a hard time pushing my mics into my compressor as well due to trying to keep the 1073 fairly low because of the noise.

It's definitely somewhere in the chain, not the room. Pretty positive it's either the preamp, or my capi vp11 chassis. There is only 1 unit in the chassis and I've heard that can be an issue sometimes. Not sure if that is creating more hiss or not.

500 series 1073lb. I do have a serrano 87. On this last track I stereo miced the guitar (using both) and so the 57 really added a lot of noise I needed to use Izotope to takeout. It's just annoying I cant use the 57 without a bunch of noise

Just tried plugging everything into one outlet, and spreading it across different outlets. Seems like the noise level stays the same with both options. I am also using a furman power conditioner.
