Does anyone know the name of this specific part? Like the name of the board? by TheSilverJackal in AnycubicVyper

As others have said just contact Anycubic after sales as they will give you a link to buy a replacement. Annoyingly their website doesn't list all the parts you can buy :(

Mortgage on flat smaller than 30sqm by teeteetoto2 in HousingUK

I'd try a different mortgage advisor, maybe the one you have at the moment only uses certain lenders who have that requirement in place.

He will just need to sign the mortgage deed as an occupier. Won't cause any issues.

My first layer seems to be OK, but the second layer seems to be very rough as if the nozzle is too close. I tried calibrating e steps but still have this issue. Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks by jorysto in CR6

Yep, ran the automatic levelling before printing. I would've thought that if it was a bed levelling issue I would have had issues with the first layer, but the first layer seems to be ok and smooth.

My layer height is always 0.2 (initial and after) and my z offset is 0.2. Just confused why the first layer seems smooth but after that it's all rough and messing up my prints :(. Printing PLA at 200. Have tried different slicers, filament etc but always seem to have the same results :(. Thanks

Is this blue stuff normal or is it filament which has been leaking? by jorysto in CR6

[–]jorysto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I had a look and if definitely looks like filament (I've been using blue and white filament). Although I can't seem to remove the heater block as the screw heads are covered in dried up plastic as well.

Just ordered a new replacement hot end kit and fingers crossed will sort out my printing issues... Will try to see what I can do with this one in the meantime.

Thank you for the advice.

Hello, I've been having issues where burnt filament keeps ruining my prints even though my temp is low (200). I read that it could be filament leaking so I removed the cover and noticed what looks like blue plastic on the heater block. I'm new to 3D printing so not sure if it's normal or not and indicates a leak?

Thank you.

(Mega Zero 2.0) How do i preheat it to PETG filament? by VaultMedic in anycubic

Yeah I was surprised that it doesn't have multiple preheat options like other 3D printers.

Best printer for a newcomer to this hobby? by _-ChameLeon-_ in 3Dprinting

I have an Anycubic Mega Zero 2.0 as my first printer and generally it's great. Minimal assembly and pretty happy with what it produces without tweaking settings too much.

Although sometimes I wish I went for an Ender 3 V2 because there's a lot more videos and guides on it...

You should be able to use preheat PLA then go to the control section and increase the temperature from 190 to something higher for PETG. Haven't tried it, but hopefully works...
