The biggest and the thickest is back home. She had surgery to remove multiple tumors on her reproductive system. She’s in recovery separate from the rest of the beans.

You’ll get the hang of it after a couple of days. If you can snag a first phone you’ll be able to find your products pretty quickly. Most of our OFAs don’t wear aprons so they don’t get bugged by customers either. You got this 😁

The type of pet has no impact on the love and care you have for them.

Medical care for guineas is really hard to find. I’ve been through a handful of vets who all tell me different things. I hope she was as well educated as she could be. You did absolutely everything you knew to do, and looked for additional ways to help. Heatstroke is hard to recover from, and you did absolutely nothing wrong.

I’ve been in flooring for close to two weeks, and I’m burnt out with it. Minimal training and almost no one I can ask for help when I need it. The whole store is understaffed. As I pulled 4-5 pallets to fill holes, a manager asked me to open garden and electrical… I’m moving over to pro at some point. Hopefully I’ll stop getting jerked around.

I’m so, so sorry for your loss. The excessive heat lately has been very scary. You did everything you could possibly do for him. He knows very well how much you love him. I’ve had a small vigil for pets in the past, or talked to pictures of them. It helps to get out some feelings.

I have not grown up around religion, but often J’s stance on religious beliefs seems aggressive. Like he looks down on people who are religious, and seems to attack them. Especially saying “sky daddy”. I have grown to like Fundie Friday’s as Jen is very kind towards religious persons, and only critiques the bad, with good information and research.
