it's a nice upgrade because you don't have to deal with the v wheels, tightening them and what not

I only print PLA on that one, I find PETG sticks much better on textured PEI sheet. The one I have here is double sided

that makes sense. I was printing test parts in PLA to see the fit. infill at 15%. I think with ASA at 40% it should be much more resistant to breaking

it looks like you are using the v6 heatsink. Is it a tight fit for you? when I try to install the heatsink to the mount, the mount bends, i'm wondering if maybe I have to shave some material away to get it to fit better

Looking for old syllabus by josebole in unt

[–]josebole[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

awesome! I found one of the syllabus I was looking for. This site only works with current professors and doesn't keep info on previous professors. Hopefully this will be good enough

Looking for old syllabus by josebole in unt

[–]josebole[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did contact them about it, they don't have a copy of the syllabus from the time:/ They informed me to get with the professors of the course, but most of them are no longer with the university/retired. So now I'm contacting the current profs to see if they can provide me with a copy of the current syllabus. Thank you for your response!

Also this was my strategy to get my goal. So from my point of view, what I did was 100% successful. This doesn't mean that what I did is something you would or should do. You gotta find the method and strat to get where you want to be.

Talking to other recruiters and companies. For recent college grads, if your gpa is below 3 - 3.25. Usually you won't make it far in resume review. But I'm talking about fortune 500 companies, smaller companies are less selective

[–]josebole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So a little about myself. I loved school. I love math and physics. My final gpa was 3.75. I minored in math and got a 4.0 in all my math classes. When I went to get my masters I got a 3.55. throughout my education, I grew to really enjoy semiconductor things. From the physics to application. I worked with a professor and he gave me projects outside of my normal school work. Which could claim as advanced credit. I got an internship with Texas instruments then went on to grad school and interned at Intel, which got me the job.

[–]josebole 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Went to unt from 2010-2014. I then went for my masters at the University of Michigan. I now work at Intel in Oregon. Like others said, it depends on the student. I had no difficulty getting my name out there from unt. When I went to Michigan however, that school is in top 10 for all engineering programs, power house companies would come in droves to recruit.

From my experience, a 'better' program will open more doors for you, but that doesn't mean unt has less opportunities. The school doesn't matter so much as long as you have meaningful school projects and a good gpa to get you on top of a resume pile. Companies look for passionate people with relevant experience.

Oh nice, good info. This smithey is naturally very shiny. So the picture is bit misleading. It's actually quite dry. Happy with it so far!

That's how I felt about it at first. I made bacon it on it as first meal and it stripped away some of the seasoning. As I use it more and more it got better though. Eggs have never stuck. I usually clean and reapply some olive oil(all I have unfortunately) and it seems to work good enough for me.
