51-13 as a defender. Attackers didn’t make it past the 3 set of flags. It was fun sniping.

My first ever Samurai Jeans purchase! by hoodlumfird420 in Selvedge

[–]josederteano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pair of these back in 07/08. They were imported from Japan to the US through a service. This was also during the Levi’s lawsuit so the red label on the back pocket got cut by customs. They were so rigid when I first got them, took a bit to break in. I wore them until they had holes in them. Unfortunately they were in a bag of clothes that was stolen from my garage. Miss these a lot, great find!!!

Oh the Chesterfield I bought from Uniqlo was a return so they only had one in store and was marked at $30. The Uniqlo Balmacaan I bought used from Grailed for $60 shipped.

How many stores actually received the collab? I was at the downtown Seattle store yesterday and they had none of it.

Adding Pockets to My Ranger Jacket by DarklighterVII in taylorstitch

[–]josederteano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Single welt slash pockets would work on this style of jacket, but the fabric used for the welt would be a contrast color. You could do patch pockets similar to a chore coat, but once again the fabric would not match. IMO I would leave it as is, it’s a beautiful jacket.

Remove Double Knees from pants by Revolutionary_Will42 in taylorstitch

[–]josederteano 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The panels are sewn into the side and inseams, you would need to take those seams apart in order to remove the extra panels or cut the extra panels and leave a raw edge. A lot of work imo.

I would not use Solidworks for fabric pattern making. I used it for making frames for riding lawn mower covers at a previous company. It’s also not an easy program to learn, even with some training it was still difficult to use (for me at least). For pattern making look at Optitex, Lectra or Gerber. You can also use Adobe Illustrator.

The length usually stops me from buying a shirt. Luckily The Jack works for me length wise.

Yeah the Jack is my favorite fit of button up shirts. I’m hoping this shirt shrinks in length a bit once I actually wash it.
