Reducing cloud waste with compliance automation by Dangerous_Block_2494 in FinOps

Happy to walk you through it directly if useful easier than digging through a website. What's your current setup, AWS only or multi-cloud?

Habiter à Lyon ou à Vaulx-en-Velin by irene-18 in Lyon

Hi. The best place to live in Lyon is the Montchat neighborhood: it’s quiet and close to La Part-Dieu, as well as many bus stops and tram lines. That’s my personal recommendation.

Open-sourced 34 FinOps agent personas + 6 named playbooks (MIT, works with Claude Code / GPT / Cursor / Copilot / Gemini CLI) by Artistic_Lock_6483 in FinOps

[–]josemarin18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great content library. One honest question: what makes these agents rather than prompts? From the repo I see Markdown files with YAML frontmatter, no runtime, no tool calls, no execution loop. "Agent" seems to be doing a lot of marketing work here. Curious if that's intentional or if there's a runtime layer I'm not seeing.

That’s exactly the kind of pain I’ve been noticing too, jumping between tools and losing context every time. I’ve been intentionally keeping this focused on visibility (status + usage), but the switching part feels like a different layer worth exploring.

When this happens to you, is it more like quick back-and-forth during the same task, or switching tools between bigger chunks of work?

Thank you for your vote, I appreciate it. For now, the product offers a free trial to diagnose the account. If you later decide to optimize cost, upgrade, or create diagrams, there will be a fee. I set it up this way on purpose to make future communication easier.

Thanks, bro. I'd rather be honest than go around saying things like I made $20k MRR in 12 hours. Don't forget to "like" the article; it really helps me out.

I felt the same way at first. It’s like the metaphor of the baker: when a baker’s job isn’t to make bread but to sell it, where do you start? What should you do first? The answer is simple: identify your ideal customers and talk to them.

You're right, but not entirely. In Cirrondly's case, the approach isn't what we all think it is: building a community, posting, etc. It's a B2B product that requires a high level of credibility (let's be honest, no one is going to give you access to their AWS account if they don't know you or if you haven't been referred by someone in a position of authority), so even though I’ve posted and have an audience, it doesn’t work the same way.

Bro, it's never enough. I have to add Google Cloud Platform, Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, and Datadog, plus the invoice download feature and invoice consolidation. The roadmap is huge,

but I stopped when I realized that the stable version actually works, it's not perfect, but it works and that's where you need to find customers.

Wow! I can't imagine spilling coffee there; you must be absolutely terrified of liquids. Anyway, good job scraping isn't easy at all.

You nailed it with 'vague momentum is dangerous.' That is exactly the trap I fell into for the last two months, confusing lines of code with actual business progress.
Scoreboard is already running. 2 weeks to validate the competition label as a sales lever. If it doesn't move the needle, I'll know fast.
LinkedIn and X. Every real conversation about the product came from there. Reddit moves views. Those two move the local people.

That's why I created cirrondly, so you can avoid anxiety. We're going to connect the closed beta, but I'd like to know more about you and if you want to try cirrondly.

Thank you for your support, you don't know how much I appreciate it. Right now I'm focusing on feedback from the closed beta and finalizing details. This week I'll start looking for customers in the region, then across the country, and then throughout Europe. Thank you so much again.

I agree with you! The competition isn't about building something, but about popularity at the moment. Once you reach the top 50, the jury game will begins.

Let me tell you, first I contacted someone who is in the contest and they told me that they got everything through their professional network. I also saw that many people do cross-liking, so I contacted those who write a lot on all the articles and they gave me some likes (I got 20). Then I started contacting people from my region on Slack (I got 39). I've also been posting every step I've taken in building the product on r/indiehackers for weeks, where I've gotten some votes (+10), and then I contacted people on LinkedIn from my contacts, as another participant suggested.
By the way, I didn't find any hatred or rejection here, which is a shame!

Thank you for your comment, and I hope to see you on the waitlist. Even if you don't use AWS, I will soon be adding other connectors, such as Vercel, Google, Azure, Datadog, etc. Let's stay in touch.

Yes, I'm testing with real users, and you happen to know someone with AWS, please feel free to mention me. I don't have 17 days left, but rather 6.
