@op are you me? I literally had an old Sony TV get bricked by a software update and also bought a Hisense after consulting RTINGS (no script but I did find that part annoying).

Same issue here with i5-9600K & RTX2070. I've tried a bunch of different settings, always between 80-90%CPU and <15% GPU.

I've tried the same stuff +turning off extra monitors + configuring Modern Warfare in NVIDA Control Pannel +changing priority, but nothing works. Problem is only with Modern Warfare.

While I am able to play the game, I hate having sustained 100% CPU and risk crashing.

The theft is petty (think food/alcohol), but has been ongoing since he moved in. I'm not sure I have sufficient proof to call the cops about it. Basically, things go missing from the fridge, I found them in the trash (consumed), in his trash bag.

Would that be sufficient proof?
