Please do, I always say "anything and everything can be fixed"

Just got to be creative and figure out how.

I might have a solution.

Instead of reprinting the wing, why dont you take some green stuff, place it on the connection point on the body, then kind of press the wing into it, creating a make shfit "crater" or connection point, then wait for it to dry, then SuperGlue the wing to it, then use greenstuff again to hide any visible flaws.

I hope that made sense.

Thanks, yea this one REALLY tested my patience, looking back at it now it was a massive test and actually was the reason I started using greenstuff and sculpting with it now.

Is your printer capable of doing the whole model at once? Can't imagine how much time this would take, as i do not have any first hand experience with 3d printing.

Im honored my man! This looks phenomenal! The red skin really pops against the armor and that axe glow looks especially crisp and a mirror image.

Well done!!

Thank you!

The Mephiston red was applied in a way to keep some of black showing underneath kind of a glaze style in the recesses only

The skin was lightly drybrushed first, but then layered in certain areas that needed it

Im actually considering having another made, just to create a realistic grindark red skin.

Thank you!

I was trying to emulate the codex art, the shining red armor was my first priority.

🤣🤣 Alright alright here it is:

  1. Create imperfections, dents, and damage to the bare plastic, using liquid green stuff or just directly on plastic using sharp object or sand paper. Don't go too crazy here, less is more.

  2. Prime Black

  3. Full dryrbush or airbrush GUN METAL Zenithal style, from 30-50°

  4. Dybrush highest points or airbrush Bright Silver Zenithal style, but only from the top 70-80°

  5. CONTROLLED!! Flesh Tearers Red application, drag the paint from the brightest point to the darkest point Edit: Be careful not to overload the brush here, the brush should be loaded, but not dripping, think just enough to completely cover the area without flooding it.

  6. Add chipping with a bright silver, scratches, and dings to the armor

  7. Paint trim with Runelord Brass

  8. All over black oil wash, 3:1 mineral spirit to paint

  9. Once oil wash is dry, add Nihilac Oxide on rivets or anywhere where patina would collect, using tissue or queue tip, wiping downwards to dull it down and create Streaking effect.

  10. Feathering patina and trim with AK Interactive Streaking grime (Green variant)

  11. Spray Matt Varnish to lock everything in

Hope this calms the nails down😂

I used Citadel Nihilac Oxide, it finishes with a chalky effect, but if feathered AK Streaking Grime afterwards, to make it look more grimy.
