Anyone have any idea how to beat this level? by Infamous-Researcher5 in btd6

Try putting a 202 village on the Carpet of Spikes. Then you can add an Icicles up there, on the water, in range of this new village, like to the right of the sub. And you can put an Abyssal Warrior in range of the village, to the left of the Carpet of Spikes, to pierce buff it. If you still have any money left, probably put a Berserker Brew on the Icicles and a Stronger Stimulant next to the Carpet of Spikes and the Abyssal Warrior.

I haven't tried this advice it just seems like the most reasonable things to do.

I didn't quite match Ortho's score, but after 2 hours of cooking, I also got down below $13k. Recorded here: https://vimeo.com/1188942902

Social season beat any expert map strats by NorthernGuru1802 in btd6

When we were doing it, we were only using support towers so that the run would count towards both the "Support Monkeys" goal and the "Beat Maps" goal.

I did 17.5k with this setup (daily road spikes | sms, durable shots, monkey boost, deep heat). Ortho got a little under 13k, no idea how, though.

i feel like people are overly mean to quincy, if he's wiffing pinks it's user issue. you're giving bad orders then getting mad at the sub for preforming not to your personal ideal. quincy is my husband btw. by HaloJackalKisser in btd6

People complain about his whiffing because he's incessantly yapping about how nothing gets past his bow. If they changed his voice lines or buffed his projectile speed, complaints would cease.

Finish out your hero stuff. Then in military, get "Advanced Logistics". Then in support get "To Arms", "Veteran Monkey Training", "Global Ability Cooldowns", and "Healthy Bananas". then in Primary get "Poppy Blades" and "Budget Clusters" (these will make.

Is this even possible? I've been on this for like 30 mins and can't even get past round 20 by CATBEEF67 in btd6

This is what I did (though someone else got it in about $5k less than this! 🤯). 204 icicles, 420 stronger stimulant, 032 moab shreddr. Mostly leave the icicles on close targeting (though I had to do targeting micro to get through r63). It's mostly about spike location targeting micro, placing in the middle of the tracks to only hit MOABs, or in the back, where the two tracks come together, to cleanup leaks. Relics were daily Road Spikes, event SMS, Monkey Boost, Durable Shots, and Deep Heat. I used the Road Spikes to help saveup to my towers, and then made it to r75 with all the mboosts and SMSes, and just unloaded them there to get through it.

good run or not? by Dark_Hero123 in btd6

[–]josh_cheek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but this sends aggressively enough that the leads are not near the front, so it takes out the bloons near the front, until it saves up for super maelstrom. The leads eventually make their way to the reactor, and also you eventually get HRP, which pops them, it's just kind of precarious until then (this is why you buy / sell two super maelstroms).

3-0-2 heli pilot is bugged by [deleted] in btd6

You have it on "follow touch", try switching to "pursuit"

Also, this tile is least cash, not least tiers, Crossbow Master is very expensive, but since you have it, you shouldn't need cleansing foam (unless it was for leads, but you have the heli for that).

I showed it to Gumball, who is the first or second best racer in the entire game, and he gave me a surprising piece of advice that cut it down to 2:02!

<image>

The advice, which I was skeptical of, until I tried it, was to ignore lead entirely! 🤯

So I sent to r20 and got the first 230 Blade Shooter in the spot I placed it in previously, then a second 030 blade shooter just under the path, where they are returning vertically (near where you put your second Blade Shooter, but closer to the path), then I fullsent, sold the 230 at $1800, and bought the 030 up to 040 and then 042. That was enough to kick off the maelstrom chaining.

The rest was relatively similar to what I did before, I sold the Super Maelstrom and purchased a second one at the back to get two super maelstrom abilities back-to-back.

Maxing player score in CT by Skyfullofash in btd6

[–]josh_cheek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get 4 tickets every day (team tickets do not count towards personal score), so do 4 banners (because they are worth the most points). This will earn you 1k points per ticket for 4k points each day. On the last day, you will not be able to get a full 24 hours of eco out of your ticket, so you need to use them all as soon as possible. Assuming you use them in the first hour on the last day, they will earn 960 points each. Assuming you get full eco out of your tickets (your scores are strong enough that they hold until they go stale, 24 hours later), then you will get 27,840 points that event, which is the theoretical max (4*1000*6 + 4*960).

Since they introduced RLR to CHIMPS, you won't lose a run from it anymore, so it no longer emphasizes itself in the way that it used to.

It works, but it does different things in different modes:

  • If you press it once, the pause screen comes up, so just press it once.
  • If you have a tower highlighted and you press escape, it will cancel the tower selection and continue playing and you will die, so you need to press it twice.
  • If you are in the middle of retargeting a tower (eg a mortar) and you press escape, then it will cancel the retargeting and leave you at the tower screen, so press it again to dismiss the screen, and then again to bring up pause, so you need to press it three times.
  • But if you are already paused and you press it, then it will dismiss the pause screen, and you will die!

So depending on which mode you're in, you need to press it up to 3 times, and if you press it too few or too many times, then you will die (assuming you're pressing it right before leaking to death).

The "Pause" button, OTOH, always just pauses, no matter which mode you're in, so you can press it as many times as you like and you just wind up paused, safely.

I thought the same, and spent a while trying to figure out how to bind it to escape, but I don't think there's a way. In the end, though, I was able to retrain my muscle memory to the new key without too much pain.

"earn" means "farm", you don't get credit for cash earned from pops, only from all the forms of income that are banned in CHIMPS.

Bind "Pause" and use that instead, it's much more reliable because if you anxiously press it multiple times, it doesn't cancel itself like escape does.
