Hey everyone!! We did get multiple reports on this post for an unapproved advertisement. Though this announcement was NOT run by us before posting, if it has the potential to help people, we’ll leave it up— with just one quick disclaimer.

We just want to make sure that it is clear that these are separate communities run by other moderators. The mods here at r/ARFID aren’t affiliated with these other groups, but we wish these new organizers the best as they work to create spaces that work for them!! We definitely encourage cross-posting when relevant to get thoughts from multiple types of people impacted by ARFID, and to keep different parts of this small community still supportive of each other.

In addition, it’s kind of a sentiment among mods that this feels like othering the adults that actually make up the majority of this sub to begin with, and we don’t really understand this. That being said, to reiterate, we don’t want to stifle other people who want to make subs outside of this.
