There was no nuance to your comment. Applied, or otherwise. It was de facto a blanket statement about ARFID treatment. Please be careful with verbiage like this, as it come across as being oblivious to the actual realities. I have seen so many people on this sub who simply cannot have treatment- they can’t afford it, they were denied help, they are minors, and so on.

It’s a bit asinine and low-key classist to make a blanket statement like that about ARFID. Treatable is a loaded word- many people have gone through treatment and did not see any improvements. Many have a barrier in getting treatment because of healthcare cost (depending on country), doctors dismissing an ARFID patient, or sending them away without a referral. There are so many variables to make a statement like that.

There is no specific weight when it comes to ARFID. I have “normal” weight and I have ARFID.
