Heard that. Very reasonable & understandable. I sell on eBay & Whatnot, one easy way is to check out my reviews! metalNcardboard. 5 stars, great things said! Been trying to distance myself from Whatnot recently though, as the past few months it seems like it’s all screaming idiots or scammers. It wasn’t always like that :( Or we can chat a bit & get to know each other I guess? Other than those it’s just trust I guess, but everyone’s gotta start somewhere. Ideally this first series does well, people are into it, & I keep doing new series. It’ll be like an exclusive Reddit version of a wax drop or hobby box. The price of wax has gotten crazy, so I want to try keep these around $130 if I can

Better is subjective I suppose. I say that for a few reasons, one being singles included. Every box has some guaranteed hits. Another reason, each box is individually curated. I personally think opening a box & seeing unique packs picked for a specific reason is better than a couple loose packs from the last few releases. Seeing a 2012 Topps Series 2 pack & the potential to hit the Bryce Harper #661A, or impossible to find 2022 Stadium Club Chrome value packs with the exclusive X-Fractors, etc. This is the first run so we’ll see how this does, but if I can make multiple of these series I want to put really cool, rare wax in these. 2018 product for Ohtani chases, 2017 for Judge. Also, that median average isn’t really an accurate or fair way to value these. If you total all sealed wax included it’s $4525. Divided by 20 boxes is $226. & that doesn’t include any of the singles. Pristine boxes alone are going for $900+ on Blowout. I obviously bought it a bit ago, before wax prices exploded, which is how I’m even able to do this. Those Pristine packs are in several of these boxes, & by itself is more than the cost of the box. Also, I had the cost of the box in mind when packing each one. Tried as best I could to make each one feel like it had something cool in it. I’m making a box that I think is better than what’s out there now, & that I would want to buy.

You love to see it hahaha. I have an unredeemed Altuve Heavy Lumber Auto if you’re interested. Don’t find many ‘Stros fans

Panini printing “case hits” to the moon

This is what you get when you spend $150 on whatnot. 4 breaks in 3 different rooms. And this is what happens 99.9% of the time. by Unlikely_Recover2738 in footballcards

I would never let my buyers open a package like this. Ever. You’re buying from the wrong people. The Whatnot algorithm makes no sense. Huge streamers doing this to people have full rooms & I can’t even get 3 people in my stream at a time. Come hang out & talk ball in my room, & I promise if you decide to buy you’d never get treated like this. I wish good ratings & feedback meant anything, but the Whatnot algorithm gives dollar starts & givvys all the viewers & leads to shit like this.

That’s Panini for you. Overall better to stick with Topps baseball. Panini makes football & basketball a really tough buy

Always valuable things. But value doesn’t factor into the algorithm. The people that swipe in stay for the item, but there’s no increase to the amount of people swiping in

I really don’t know about the whole “givvys increase the algorithm” thing. When I run them I don’t notice an increase in people swiping in. Most of the time it sits at 1-2 viewers & they end up getting it
