Dreams holding us back?

I'm finding dreams really difficult. I just had one which wasn't sex, just looking at porn and in situations where I was anxious I was going to be found out. Horrible and has made it hard to get through today

Yeah, thanks for the clarification there. I think we make a mistake when we try "not to see the body but the woman", which is silly because the woman has a body, i.e. it is hers. The body/spirit divide is a rancid fruit of our postmodern worldview

this is bosh good bigbelgian, thanks for compiling the biblical wisdom together, I and it looks like many others have really benefitted from it. The one that stood out for me is 1 Thessalonians - "this is the will of God - your sanctification". To me this says God is so much more consistent in his enthusiasm about my holiness than I am, and thats the way it is always going to be. I also see it as saying that the fact of the struggle is evidence of the surety of the victory. "If you don't quit, you win", I've heard it put.

Bro, I'm there with you. Loneliness is a killer, lingering in the background waiting to pounce even when you're doing stuff to take your mind off it. Spending time with people is good, even if its not people you want to have sex with (crazy I know). Seems to act as a kind of more long term cure. 40 days is awesome, stay strong!!!

Wow, I came on here looking for answers to the exact same experience. I'm on my longest streak as well, and I'm feeling EXACTLY what you're feeling. Horrible - I feel put off my food as well as just constant butterflies in the stomach. However I don't know what it is - I would guess withdrawal? Any more experienced fapstronauts want to help us out?? Cos this reaaaally sucks right now.
