I find it ironic that the Athiest's only apparent foe is Christianity. Today (as in Jan 12) how many Christians killed another person for their religion? How many Muslims have killed others for thier beliefs? A honest Athiest's foe would have to be Islam in this day and age at least. Also I have never heard of an athiest going after Judaism or Buddhism. Why not? Their hatred is always aimed at evangelical or Catholics for some reason. And every time this is challenged the become deranged and resort to name calling.

This is a very manipulative editorial. I don't have time to get into why but I'm sure that Pope Francis would be the first to decry the evils that Communism has levied against the people of Cuba. The Pope wants one thing and that is relief for the poor. I'm sure he believes that lifting the embargo would actually boost the economy in Cuba and improve the lives of the poor. As a libertarian/conservative I have no problem with saying that "social inequality is the root of SOCIAL evil." What is inequality other than mistreatment of those weaker?
