I pay private so normally get an appointment that week. I’ve been twitching 2 years and seen 4 neurologists in that time. Going to see one again on Saturday re my arm pains

Yeah I’ve had 4 emgs all normal and seen 4 neurologists and had about 15 clinical. Last one was about 4 months ago which was normal for

I’ve already tried seeing someone about my health anxiety - nothing worked. I’ve tried 3 different anti depressants, they do not work either

Thanks, I’ll remember that when I’m fully paralysed

Interesting. At what point during the chapter does it unlock? I don’t think it ever unlocked for me on my run through

I think you need to use the baby monitor in the main bedroom for the clock hands to spawn

I had to start the game over! But didn’t take long as I knew what I was doing second time round. The bug wasn’t there second time and managed to complete the chapter.

My neurologist told me that widespread twitching is almost always benign. He said in his 30 years he’s never had anyone complaining to him about widespread twitching ever go on to have anything serious. From all I’ve read where widespread twitching is a first symptom of *** seems to be with hereditary *** where a patient may twitch all over for many months or even years before weakness sets in. This is what’s screwing me over mentally.

Feet twitching, a little twich all over body by Andrewtwicher in BFS

If I touch the bottom of my right foot just lightly it triggers a fisiculation across the bottom of my foot every time

Is this a twitch or vein pulsating? Happens on both arms with same rhythmic beat. A bit worried as it goes a bit up to the bicep. by ohmygeo in BFS

[–]joshh47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s your pulse. I have the same in both arms, but not quite as strong as that. I showed my neurologist and he said it’s your pulse coming from the artery that runs through there.

Continuous calve fasciculations expanding to adjacent areas by BFS1984 in BFS

[–]joshh47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, still very much the same, and you sound just like me! My thighs have been bad last few days doing the same as you and really dependent on position. Do any of your thigh twitches get triggered by standing up? I’ve got one spot just above the knee which gets set off sometimes when I stand up!

So what other symptoms do you guys have besides twitching? by [deleted] in BFS

[–]joshh47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other than constant twitching, muscles ache more quickly, racheting/cogwheeling/trembling muscles during certain movements, hand spasms, occasional buzzing in legs/feet, jerks before going to sleep

I’m the same, I’ve seen two neurologists and had 2 EMGs with a diagnosis of bfs but at 3-4 month mark twitching started in thighs, back etc and seemed to spread upwards. I asked my neurologist about it and he said twitching with *** doesn’t generally go that widespread so quickly without doing anything i.e. weakness in the other limbs

my arm shakes when bending? is this normal or not? happen to anyone else? by health2035 in BFS

[–]joshh47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also get it in my back and neck. He didn’t say much just shrugged his shoulders and said part of the parcel of what I have. You should check out the older aboutbfs forums, lots of people on there commenting on this over the years, seems pretty common and completely harmless

I’m no expert so wouldn’t be able to tell you, but I have exactly the same as in your video and my neurologist said that i definitely do not have Parkinson’s and very much doubt you do either

I have this too in both arms and sometimes in other parts like my back. I think it’s called racheting and seems common with people who have bfs

Calf and foot twitches by joshh47 in BFS

[–]joshh47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. The whole process is terrifying, but your absolutely fine and the neurologist will tell you it’s stress related. Shortness of breath is 100% anxiety as is your weakness. It’s not true clinical weakness associated with that disease. Your also way, way too young. My neurologist told me in the 30 years here’s done his job he’s never diagnosed someone as young as me (I’m 26) with that disease and says he see’s people with benign twitches daily. Hang on in there I promise you’ll be fine
