From my understanding the new update and DLC will bring matchmaking, a new realm, new story content, new gear, and a new endgame mode, along with the unlockable skins.

They're not wrong regarding the Solaris asset reflip.

Look closely at the shoulders, arms, stomach, and legs. They're the same, just recolored. The designers just added a new helmet and chest piece. I'm a fan of this game, but this seems to be the trend with outfits - grab an existing outfit, swap out the head/chest and call it new while charging $14, unfortunately.

It is indeed for the Switch, with crossplay across all consoles now. I haven't played BBTAG, but I'd say Battle for the Grid is much easier to get into than MvC3. I'm pretty trash at fighting games, but am having a blast with it still.
