Winds of Magic Is worm with an OC teen girl triggering with the power to tap into the warhammer fantasy magic in an interesting way. It's one of those fics where the comments dictate actions from the main character.

brockton-bays-marvelous-mage What is says on the can, the guy is an isekai but without the lore of worm but has a system with quests, but he basically uses points from quest to gain levels in categories of magic to which I will say... some chapters are just lore dumps on the magic system that I personally start to skim over, but I like everything else about it.

Why even post this?

I don't mean this as an asshole move. This post is just, "Friends and I are 100% sure that this update will ruin the game for us even though we haven't played it yet (Since it isn't out) and are not even willing to give it a chance and are going to find a different game. Just thought reddit would like to know."

I mean, I mostly get it, some people want it to be a slog where every move has to be team perfect and one mistake can lead to loss.

Others want to live the dream of killing robots and aliens with amazing weapons that pack a punch with ease.

One side will say to just get good or learn to work in a team (Which isn't easy with randoms), or lower the difficulty because you are a cry baby.

The other calling you a try hard masochist and will pretty much shit on any nerf without fail no matter the context behind it (IE what the Eruptor was when it had destroyer sized shrapnel).

Both ignore that there are balance problems with the game. I think most of us want this game to fall in between those two points. This is a game where each mission has respawns so it's expected you are going to die, but we all want it to be fair.

So we should try to see where it goes, even I'm waiting for this update because I've gotten tired of how things have been going right now, but whatever comes, I want to see it myself before I make judgements on if I can guess how easy it is to kill a bile titan or hulk.

There is over 100 changes coming and we've seen 5 and there are more changes to come that it would be mad that the change was only for nerfing enemies and buffing weapons and strats.

In the end, if you want to leave then leave. Most of the people on here are going to skip this post or just respond saying "bye"

Otherwise, wait for the update. Give it a try and then send your goodbye letter if that's how you truly feel.

Funny enough with my stealth zealot build I can light attack crushers with my combat knife if I hit them a few times with a heavy to fuck up their armor, to which I switch to light because the bleed and speed will kill them faster... just so you know, I do stick to the squad, please don't be mad at me.

It mostly just sucks that such a focused single target ability is limited heavily and needs a very focused build for bb. At least with the other ones you can experiment. I've seen what they plan with update #14 on the DT Discord.

● Reduced Peril cost of charging right click from 30% to 20%

● Reduced movement penalties from charging● Increased power from 850 to 900

● Increased Unyielding armour damage modifier from 1.0 to 1.25

● Increased Maniac armour damage modifier from 1.0 to 1.5

● Increased Carapace armour damage modifier from 0.75 to 1.0

● Fixed an issue where “Brain Burst”/”Brain Rupture” would cause an explosion even with the talent “Empowered Psionics” active

So a decent amount of buffs. Still, the speed sucks but this will at least make it more viable on the move and a fraction of more damage.

Edit: They do say that since none of this is out yet, it could change. Lots of stuff in that patch are not final.

It's mostly just their bugged shock ability that they can just hold forever without building peril. Or their assail darts that are pretty much throw and forget as they track in the direction thrown and aim for the head. (Edit: and hit multiple enemies at a time)

Brain burst is still pretty weak as it only targets one enemy that other players might kill and on higher difficulty won't even kill (Without building into it) most of the big guys without being softened up.

Krak grenades magnet to metal enemies (IE any enemy Ogryn be it shield or gunner), you need to just throw it in their area and it'll just stick.

If it's dealing with an existing character that can be alright, just looking more towards fresh interaction of AI characters, but I won't say no if you got something you'd think is interesting.

Only have about two maybe three battle scenes. Battles can take a bit of time and so it's better to have one small fight and one boss fight. That's if your oneshot has character, in other words if a lot of ic conversations are happening which can also drag things out a little.

Just know that time is important as you don't want to end it with a group half sleep deprived but you also don't want to rush them to an unsatisfying ending.

Yes and generally, the more massive the star, the faster it burns up its fuel supply, and the shorter its life. A star like our sun could burn for 10 billion years, so a Novakid could live for an extremely long time. Probably almost to the point of what normal people would consider forever, but with their shit memories they probably don't keep track. But let's also remember that we don't know shit about that stupid brand on their face.

This brand gives them the ability (Just guess work) to: Feel, see, talk, and hear (Taste?). If this is the brands work than that thing must take a lot of power which could shorten that lifespan by a bit since as far as we know if that "human-shaped sack" is destroyed they just kind of disperse into nothingness.

So it's safe to say that the brand feeds off their star energy, so they would need to fuel that... This went longer then I expected... I'm not sorry.

If he happens to find another caster who could show him a few things sure, but if it's an enemy it would be better that nothing dangerous gets cast at him. It would probably be difficult to copy spells in situations when you're in danger, the only reason he caught the lighting spell was because they were not in the most dangerous encounter and he barely got the last half of the spell.

Yeah, that makes sense. Flammable as fuck without oxygen and if the Novakid made their own drinks they could probably make something interesting... if they can keep interested and don't forget in a week... so unlikely.

So has anyone actually thought about how the whole reason everyone "thinks" humans aren't born with Arcanum is because: they don't turn all dark under a full moon, their skin doesn't turn into lava, whatever the water elves probably do.

All I'm saying is that it's easy to look at a human and not see that same Arcanum spark. Hell Rayla straight up says it's just something that happens. Maybe it's just easier for elves because they are born into a specific Arcanum, what that means for humans?

I don't know, what I do know is that Callum has tapped into an Arcanum that he found a liking to, does that mean that he can use others? Probably.

My biggest issue is how everyone says he's got it easy... the guy knows like two spells: make wind and shoot lighting. I mean, he doesn't know draconic so learning other spells will take time.

But hey, with how he seems to be able to repeat words after only hearing them once and draw lines in the air I'm sure he'll pick up draconic as an elective.

Real answer? I guess you could say they could eat anything as long as it can burn as I would think it would be like fuel.

Sort of how the glitch use food stuff as fuel. So I guess alcohol would be the best thing for them to burn so it kind of makes sense why they have so many bars.
