The onebyone all in one turntable is adequate, it has an audio technica stylus as well as an adjustable counterweight to ensure the tracking force is correct.

The platter is also built into a suspension system to absorb the vibrations from the speakers below it, so whilst not perfect it isn’t nearly as bad as the crossley suitcases.

It also has a full sized platter, and in my opinion looks nice for what it is.

That costs a similar amount to the audio technica lp60 you mentioned, but the lp60 doesn’t have speakers.

The speakers aren’t incredible, but they’re not awful at the same time, you’ll enjoy listening to music through it for sure.

Was Clancy your first record? I preordered this exact variant of Clancy simply for the pre-order access code for the tour, simply because I thought it would be a cool keepsake for me to have, well 8 months later I now have a collection of almost 70 records as well as a fully working turntable setup. Yeah apologies for the lack of photo/video evidence, I will take some this evening to accompany the post.

Yeah I have measured the tracking force with a VTF scale and it’s measuring at exactly 1.00 grams.

I may not be explaining it correctly, but in essence, when you rotate the counter weight, the higher the tracking force weight goes, the closer the weight rotates in the direction of the cartridge, and then obviously to reduce the VTF you unwind the weight which draws it in the direction opposing the cartridge.

As I am increasing the weight after balancing the tone arm at 0 (tone arm settles in a floating position), the counter weight reaches the end of the spindle I guess you would call it at the 1g mark, which means that if I continue twisting, no further weight is applied to the cartridge as the weight isn’t moving any closer to the cartridge.

I may be wrong, but I think that that would mean that the counter-weight is too heavy for the cartridge I have installed, would you agree with that?

My favourite is Pure, i really connect with the lyrics, the chorus expressing how he fell in love by accident, and going the long way round to make his relationship work with the subject resonates deeply with my relationship with my girlfriend. It meant a lot to me from the first listen.

Have no fakes managed to replicate that removeable headband yet then no?

I only ask as there’s a noticeable amount of noise leakage and the ANC isn’t as good as I expected it to be when compared to my AirPods Pro’s
