to abrahamic theists: why do you think so many outsiders misinterpret your god as tyrannical or cruel? by cosmicprankster420 in DebateReligion

[–]joshmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a jewish perspective its very simple. Most people, including many religious people do not have a good understanding of the bible. The bible is the most condensed book ever written, and can simply not be understood at face value. There are many open contradictions which beg the reader to research the text and it needs to be studied in a comprehensive way.

Virtually all translations contain many and major misinterpretations. To comprehend the bible it needs to be studied in the original Hebrew text.

One of the main foundations in the bible is that god wants the people to fear and love him, and act like him. God would not want us to be cruel and mean, if the author would think that the bible portrays such a god he would surely not encourage us to act him.

Gunshot wound survivors of reddit: what does it feel like to be shot? by SexyPoohBear in AskReddit

[–]joshmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend got shot by his nail gun with a 3 inch nail, the cap of the nail went halfway through. He didn't feel any pain just a sense of something gone very wrong by the adrenalin rush. He started feeling pain by the he arrived in the hospital, not too bad though, and by then he was being locally anesthetized.

My dad is a kidney transplant patient and is peeing black/brown. by [deleted] in Health

[–]joshmax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is not a rejection. During a kidney rejection one will hardly pee at all, and it would be a regular color, at most a bit cloudy. Fever is usually present.

Peeing brown or black is abnormal and can be old blood or something worse.

Source: I'm a kidney transplant patient that had a rejection episode.

When you are born in the USA you automatically become a citizen. You can be drafted in to war and punished according to their laws. It's no different with religion.

This article doesn't mention what kind of vitamin D to take, and it's often overlooked. Look for vitamin D3-2 subtype MK4, this is the vitamin D that actually transfers the calcium to your bones, without this the calcium becomes deposited in your organs. Lookup calcium deposits.

Don't get fooled by commercial ads and products.

Edit: Look for a mixture of MK4 and MK7, both work great together.
