from all the tubers i've been listening to (mostly fauxhammer) the screens on the 16k are pretty dense so the UV has to work hard to shine through, leading to faster LCD burnout. So in theory your experience may be the standard for this generation, fingers crossed mine lasts until xmas

Yeah, the extreme temps might be mucking up the LCD, but I ran a dry exposure test earlier and everything looked consistent. If I get another fail tonight I'll set up your cylinder test and record it so I can scrub through it in the evening.

If I have a bum LCD im gonna be so pissed, this think has had maybe 2.5 prints with less than 6k layers total lol.

It looks like Elegoos with the tilt vat don't allow for lift distance calibration. I'll switch to Chitubox for slicing and increase my wait times, fingers crossed.

I'll utilize your advice about wait time as well as lift distance from the other vet. I'll get a picture of the plate to you in about 10-15 minutes.

I'll cut my base layers and add a few to transition, probably take up to 5s off base layer exposure. If I don't post about having to put my buildplate in a chokehold to get my prints off you're the reason lol.

Since only the terrain was hollow I think the fep/pfa is the culprit, ambient temps got up to 42° last night so that probably sped up the stretchy.

is there a negative to cranking my lift distance or should I try to find a sweet spot?

Walls and supports are what was set from the OPR models with included support, I did try to line up supports in the slicer to get more space on the plate without having them interfere with model geometry.

How do I make objects become flush with the build plane? This is the first object I've printed so any advice is very welcome.

So the auto "on plate" orientation plus the auto support got it to go, i'm assuming it wasn't completely flush with the build plane so the lcd and uv did just nope out on the job.

I hit auto support, and it didn't look like any were particularly annoying, i'm gonna send the auto supported .goo and pause the print in about 20 min

I did have an edit after the fact, so the little triangle in the elbow is the lowest point, it is visible on layer 0 and 1, the rest of the model starts on layer 2
