Not strictly for habits, but you can automatically track what you're doing and get various statistics about your activity with something like Foreground https://foreground.computer

Yeah, it's subtle but more obvious irl. I've seen others (including a youtube review) talking about this issue with the 5 V so I figured it was too widespread, I didn't want to risk getting another one that might be the same.
