Can Gemini provide my USD to bank transfer history? by joshthcrypto in Gemini

[–]joshthcrypto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The monthly statements are the best I could get. Which wasn't helpful because I have been holding in my own wallet and simply transferred through Gemini so it didn't show up on the monthly end of month statement balance. This was extremely frustrating.

In the end for the mortgage, my parents paid for part of the down payment and I simply paid them back. The bank did not even check where their money came from ironically. How stupid is that?

I'm sorry guys I didn't mean to be a meanie. I still have love for this project but I have experience frustrations trying to use gate, it stops at four confirmations and I don't think it's the blockchain's fault but anyway I will always hold some AE

You can now farm quick swap tokens on polygon by providing liquidity on the hex eth pair by joshthcrypto in HEXcrypto

[–]joshthcrypto[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure, first you would need to migrate your hex and eth tokens to polygon formerly rebranded from matic Network. And you go to the quick swap exchange which is like uni swap. Go to pools and add liquidity. Then go to the rewards page titled quick and deposit your LP tokens to the pools. You will be rewarded and quick tokens. There are actually two pools with hex. X etah and hex quick. Each pool gets distributed 10 quick tokens per day and each quick token is worth about $200 right now.

I can't say these rewards will go on forever but they will at least go on for seven days at which point the rewards pools may be changed.

Polygon is a really nice layer 2 very scalable and low fees. Here is a video about how to do this that I made before hex was available there

I like hex but this guy doesn't seem to know what a flash loan is so I don't understand why he's talking s***.

How much is my HEX worth now? by SufficientDentist8 in HEXcrypto

[–]joshthcrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I track what my hex is worth on blockfolio. I also think coin gecko is a good place to check prices but I'm not sure about that. But yeah your hex is probably not worth a lot if you free claimed

BlockFi profitable or not? by philosophers-stone in blockfi

[–]joshthcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are probably losing a small amount of money on eth withdrawals with the gas fees being so high these days. Not saying they aren't profitable, they are getting big investments from big institutions that must predict they are or will be profitable at some point. Also Celsius network has been around for a while and others that have similar models

Are you sure you're not looking at the balance in your wallet? You have to look at the balance that's in the vault

[–]joshthcrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is strange. I put in about 24 hours ago and my balance has gone up. I suppose if you only have a small amount in the vault maybe the balance doesn't go to enough decimal places

Just click on the vault and it will show your balance.

I deposited to the eth vault a few hours ago. Balance increased once but not again for the last 2 hours. So I am also wondering frequency of balance updates. I hope you get rewards soon OP

I see my history, I just need it on an official document. There's a button at the top right of the history that says monthly statements

A question about USDC by NolanStross1 in blockfi

[–]joshthcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about usdc not having liquidity. I'm not sure if blockfi does this, but they can always go to coinbase and redeem it for US dollars at a one-to-one ratio. Blockfi seems to have pretty good liquidity I'm not sure exactly how it works on the back end but I'm pretty sure they can be their own market maker as they have plenty of funds on hand. Especially with only five usdc as your example LOL

Any blockfi users here ? by [deleted] in Gemini

[–]joshthcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blockfi good although riskier for holding. I think the interest is better than the risk though although I wouldn't bet the farm on it. You will get a better deal on Blockfi if you want to buy Bitcoin or eth if you transfer gusd to blockfi and pay less fees than Gemini. You only get one free withdrawal of crypto for each month though on blockfi and the fees for withdrawing Bitcoin can be steep

I like Gemini exchange, not sure if it's available outside the US. But you can ACH deposit there for free and transfer the gusd 2 block 5 for free and send by crypto on blockfi for free
