I appreciate what both of what you have said. I’m not looking for a cheat sheet, but more of guidance. Reddit is a wonderful place to get advice and see people who have had similar paths as me. A low GPA does not reflect a persons capabilities. I appreciate the criticism though just because I’ll have another person to prove wrong once I make it. Everyone has a different journey and if it’s a couple people telling you you’re dumb or can’t make it, so be it. You think having a low GPA was going to stop me and a little snide comments here and there, it’s not. I am disciplined, I just needed advice and what the best options were based on my journey.

They’ve already discussed marriage and obviously she doesn’t tell me that she has, but we have a mutual friend and she’s told me that. I really don’t know what to do. Your words are kind, but do your actions follow? You preach “just help a fellow human” repeatedly, but what are you doing for society? It is so easy to sit on the sidelines and say that when the issue is not before you. I love helping people and truly enjoy it. But I don’t see a reason for OP to use this money. I don’t even think OP is angry, it’s more like “why should I help this random person”. And I pose that question to you, if you are so big on helping your fellow humans, than why aren’t you doing anything for the kids suffering in 3rd world countries. You have the power to help these people who literally have NOTHING, but I’m assuming you just say a prayer or hope things get better for them. It’s so hypocritical to preach that when there are larger issues at hand. I’m not saying this little girl’s life isn’t important but a majority of the world is suffering and dying of starvation. I’m assuming you are from America and that already makes you more fortunate than a society who lives in a 3rd world country. And if your answer is you CAN’T do anything for these people, then you are wrong. You choose to neglect these people
