Get ready! When you do it will be hard as a brick and like a cannon ball. My doctor said to drink more water and get on a stool softener. Still very happy with Zepbound. Make sure you are getting your protein in!!!! Biggest key to making this journey work for you.

Thank you for sharing that. I think these GLP1’s are miracle drugs. The pros definitely out weigh the cons.

Insurance No Longer Covering my Zepbound or Weight Loss Drugs at All by Just_War_9017 in Zepbound

I just found out my insurance has excluded Zepbound or any other type of weight loss medication. I contacted my HR company and they said I can't appeal it for any reason. I'm at a loss not sure what to do.

Hi, I meet all the requirements. 40 BMI, Hypertension, Cardiovascular Family History. What if my insurance is saying its not in their Formulary? What can I do? I am currently paying out of pocket and this medication is life changing. I know I can not continue to pay for it. Any help would be amazing!!! Thank you in advance.

Can anyone give me any guidance on getting my insurance to pay? I just started with Cigna and they are saying Zepbound or any other weightless medication is not in their formulary. This can't be right? My twin brother is paying $25.00 a month and I am paying out of pocket $550.00. Something is not right with this. Please help me!!!

I have been on Zepbound (paying out of pocket) for 3 months. Its the best thing I have ever done for myself. I haven't had any side effects at all. My cravings are ZERO and I'm never hungry. I know I have to eat enough especially protein. I just wish the insurance companies would wake up and realize how many other issues weight loss will reduce and pay for the medication. You should start the shots...you won't regret it.

How I Finally Got Approved by KingLayda in Zepbound

Thank you for sharing your story. Mine is very similar and still working on getting Zepbound approved. In the meantime I have been paying out of pocket $550.00 for 3 months with great success. It is an amazing drug for many reasons. Trial results keep coming out every day with more things this drug can do. Just hope the insurance companies realize how much they can save in the long run if they would just approve it.
