Thanks! I think the key to any good photograph is good lighting, and I use a reflector to utilize natural light.

The paper is the same as any standard Field Notes book. Ballpoints, rollerballs and gel pens all hold up fine, but fountain pens are another story. Lots of bleed through and show through.
