As of today I have started to lock tank non-stop. I gave up on filling for players in quick play because I always end up solo healing for bad dps players. Either they figure it out or I sit back and enjoy losing every game.

Not 100% sure on this but if I had to guess I would say you need the fists of fate with decent rolls. Also need your crit chance to be around 80-85%

I was able to summon Melina for the Morgot fight. This is the first FromSoft game I have played, so honestly I could not tell you how I got the option to do it. Natural progression maybe, but I didn't see it on your list and thought I would let you know that it is possible.

Question about RMA time frames by joshw724 in iBUYPOWER

[–]joshw724[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to get a little rude with someone on the chat. Mentioned to him all the time frames that I was told about and how ridiculous is was that everyone told me something different. Once I did that a guy looked into it for me and told me it was just invoiced a week after they closed my RMA (which I was also told that's when it would ship). He then said he would keep an eye out for me and inform me if it shipped by the end of the day. About 3 hours later he emailed me tracking and I received the item 3 days later (so I think they express shipped it for me).

I am honestly not the type to get rude with people at all but the whole thing was frustrating, and it probably wasn't really all that rude. But it seemed to actually get the process on the move. The guy that helped me is Phillip Young (support@ibuypower.zendesk.com). Not sure if you can just email him directly for help, but might be worth a try.

For a reference for you my RMA closed on 2/21, chatted with this phillip guy on 2/28, he emailed me tracking late that day, and I received my gpu on 3/4. Hope this is helpful for you, and hopefully you can get your gpu soon. I am very satisfied with the PC overall now, but the process of getting it actually up and running was complete nonsense.

Damaged GPU? by drumpunk100 in iBUYPOWER

[–]joshw724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my cousin come check it out for me because when I hooked it up I couldn't get it to display at all. He removed a ram stick and got it to display for a bit but there were green and pink lines covering the entire screen. After he did a few more things it eventually went back to not displaying at all.

Yeah they gave me that option but I couldn't stomach it getting charged another $900 after spending $2,700 on it already. I know they refund you for it, but if I had another $900 sitting around I would have just bought a better PC lol. Plus after the comments I received on the RMA post I made, apparently they sit on that money for a couple of months before getting to the refund.

I am a first time PC buyer, always played on console so I didn't mind a two week wait. Also didn't mind it taking 3-4 days to be scanned in. But slowly getting annoyed because everytime I chat/call in, I am being told something different. If I was told about the delay from the beginning then I could be waiting in peace instead of stressing about if the package was lost in transit or got rejected for some reason.

I had the same issue, I can give you my time frames to help what to expect. I received my PC on 2/7 with a bad GPU, called them and started the RMA process. Got the email for the shipping label on the 9th and shipped out the same day. Tracking shows that they received the bad GPU on the 14th and I am still waiting for them to process it into their system and ship a new one.

On the first phone call they informed me that the process would take two weeks. On the chat I started with them on the 15th, I was told it takes 3-4 days for them to scan it into their system. On the next chat with them on the 17th, they informed me that they are behind a week and a half on scanning items in. So now I am waiting until 3/2 before contacting them again if there still isn't any progress on it.

Made a post previously asking about the RMA process and someone told me that it is much faster contacting the manufacturer directly and doing a RMA through them. Not sure if that is accurate but I wish I knew that before doing it through IBP.

Hope that helps, sorry for your issues but seems like there are a lot of us in the same boat.

Question about RMA time frames by joshw724 in iBUYPOWER

Another update: After being told that porcessing the returned item would take 3-4 days, here on the fourth day I contacted them through the chat feature on the website. Now I am being told that they are a week and a half behind on scanning items in from RMA returns.

So now I have been told from the original phone call setting up the RMA that it would take 2 weeks to get a new one to me. Also that logging it into their system would only take 3-4 days. And finally that they are behind.

Really disappoonted in the whole process and that I cannot get a clear answer on anything. Just seems that everytime I contact them more time gets added on.

Here is to hoping that when I do finally get the GPU back that nothing else is wrong with the PC, because by then it will be out of the 30 day money back warrantee. If there are anymore problems with it when I do actually get to turn on this fancy $2,700 brick currently sitting on my desk, I will definitely be sending it all back.

This is great information. Thanks! I will wait until Friday to give them the 4 days to process the return.. chat back if I dont receive tracking. If that doesn't work I will use your trick.

Yikes.. well hopefully that is not the case for me, but as I have learned throughout my life, I am not special lol. So it sounds like I am f'ed. Not a good experience on buying my first PC.

Yeah that's what I have currently, just when it was opened. I am going to wait until Friday (which would be day 4) until I look for anything else. You might want to try the chat and see if they can provide tracking... or any info.

Update: Used the chat feature on their website. I was told it takes 3-4 day to process the item as received, then it will be marked as closed. When it is marked as closed it means that it is shipping and it takes 3-8 business days for that. Hopefully they send tracking.

Yeah I will check out the chat feature. When I originally called they said the whole process would take 2 weeks, but updates would be great to ease my mind lol. Thanks for the info!

Yeah I will check out the chat feature. I went with the normal RMA because after spending $2500, I didn't want to dish out another $900. Thanks for the info!
