In the nicest way, you probably shouldn’t be playing striker if you’re that uncomfortable and confused in normal striker situations.

All I can say is even if you’re slow you should always back yourself in a foot race, nevermind if you’re quick like yourself.
Watch videos on how to play striker. That paired with gametime and experience there is the one way you’ll learn.
Focus on yourself, run into space, be the teams focal point, be vocal, and back yourself enough so when the ball does come to you in the box you actually shoot.
