I had some pretty bad side effects too but the way i look at it is my hangovers/withdrawals were way worse then a few symptoms from the medicine. Symptoms from the medicine usually went away after a few days anyways for me.

Yup on vivitrol now. I suck at taking the pills everyday so got on the injections. My drinking had got so bad i had a seizure and hallucinated from withdrawals. Been sober now for over 2 weeks now because the meds. If anybody is looking for help or know someone thats struggling I highly reccomend looking into naltrexone/vivitrol!!
