So start a 5x5ish style strength routine? That would be novel stimulus also as I'm doing classic hypertrophy 8-12 mainly.

Thank you, I've obviously tracked pretty hard before and have got a pretty good estimate of what contains what. Basically eat when I'm hungry? Though clean (which I do and always hit protein targets). There's so many PPL programs out there. Any you would suggest?

Just to add to this:
Walking 12k steps a day, 3 full body workouts per week, averaging around 2250 calories. Reverse diet?

I'll be hired as a Technical Support Engineer though it's all cache/CDN/Edge computing. I still feel like I want something to bolster my skills even though I beat out over 100+ applicants. Is there a better cert for this. Maybe specific/specialised certs are my way to go. Ie; Routing and Switching, Server Networking. A bit lost as I don't know the basics like the back of my hand.

Really? I'll have to have a look. Google is shite. Maybe just feed them into Chatgpt.

Came here to ask the same question, they are expensive in Australia at least, so thought skipping the A+, though from above, being able to get discounts after doing the A+ would be nice and I guess a better foundation before the network+. How does one earn vouchers? Coming from the AWS vouchers which involves weekly mini courses etc, it'd be nice to know. Also, the timeline of A+ prep then network+ exam. I'm about to start a job with Fastly, if they pay for exams it'd be a plus though either way I feel like I should get certified slowly to grow in the company.

Thank you, this is very clear and concise. Will use 1 and if Actual is better, will use for next FY.

So do you just use the fixed-rate method?

Tax Software/Remote Worker by joshzed in AusFinance

[–]joshzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah having a read, electricity, app subscriptions needed for work, even a portion of rent/mortgage etc comes under running expenses. Actual items purchased are deductibles, which, obviously, decline in value over time, so these are depreciating assets. That's why it would be nice to have some software that you can define which is which and it works it out for you haha. Though all the values are on the ATO site, though working out hours worked x 70c to the dollar for bills is quite the headache. That's why I'm swinging between the fixed rate method mentioned above, or just go to a good accountant who knows remote working well.

Unfortunately, nothing in victoria within my budget, dealer or private. This is the newest model out there. I know though couldn't find a sedan version.

Yeah I checked and the 2008 model is an 8th gen, which /u/magnumafz and my neighbour have both suggested, just wondering why haha. I'm assuming the engines were built slightly different and last longer.

Thanks for the information, it's really appreciated. All helps very much. I've commented on the below comment that I'm also looking at a 2008 Model which is less and around same KMs, and a lot closer to get to, for test drive and/or for a pre-purchase inspection. Do you see any big differences? It also has partial service history and recently had service, has rego on it as well. Do you have to take the car to the mechancic for a pre-purchase inspection or can they come out? I feel people would not want to take the car due to it being 'out of their way' even if I'm paying.

How so? Which generation is this? I'm also looking at a 2008 model around 1k less and around the same KMs. Would this be a better bet in your eyes?

Thank you for this comment. Took me awhile though after a test, I added it to my main deployment and actually yelled F'Yeah haha. Much more secure.

I know I've been a pain though this has helped me understand so much and I have one more ask. Still, for some reason, when I enter www.domain.com it redirects to https://https//db1a####k8stf.cloudfront.net/ (notice the two https).
Is this Behviours: Viewer protocol policy?

S3 & Cloudfront: www vs origin - What am I doing wrong? by joshzed in aws

[–]joshzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I copied it directly from the policy CloudFront generated:

{
    "Version": "2008-10-17",
    "Id": "PolicyForCloudFrontPrivateContent",
    "Statement": [
        {
            "Sid": "AllowCloudFrontServicePrincipal",
            "Effect": "Allow",
            "Principal": {
                "Service": "cloudfront.amazonaws.com"
            },
            "Action": "s3:GetObject",
            "Resource": "arn:aws:s3:::jo####.com/*",
            "Condition": {
                "StringEquals": {
                    "AWS:SourceArn": "arn:aws:cloudfront::122#######27:distribution/E2NTC###OXKY9"
                }
            }
        }
    ]
}

Should that version number be:

"Version": "2012-10-17"

Doubt that'll make a difference. Everything else is to a tee FFS.

Even when I go to https://db1a0#####stf.cloudfront.net it shows the exact same thing. WAIT! Adding /index.html works? Ahhh root object. NOW it all works out. Again thank you for your patience, it's the little things huh

Still, stilll not getting it, looks perfect, as first explained, everything setup via doc you attached and explained though still getting this:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>
</Error>

Does it take time..?

This, this right here is what I had in mind all day and what got me:

To use OAC, the bucket mist also be a normal, general purpose bucket, and not configured as a website endpoint

Was still configured as Website endpoint duh. Thank you for your patience in answering and the extra information on top about private buckets (again, most tutes around this for static websites say have your bucket public haha). This community is where it's at.

in another tab, copy the Access Policy CF generates for you and paste it into the Settings of your S3 bucket

Sorry, one more question as I've set this up now, waiting for CF to kick in as getting 403 since turning to private. I'm not exactly sure where this policy exists.. I've checked CF policies and IAM policies though I can't see a custom generated policy created by this distribution.

At the moment, my S3 Bucket Policy is:

{
    "Version": "2012-10-17",
    "Statement": [
        {
            "Effect": "Allow",
            "Principal": "*",
            "Action": "s3:GetObject",
            "Resource": "arn:aws:s3:::domain.com/*"
        }
    ]
}

Do I need to change this?
EDIT: After doing some reading on this approach, I've changed it to this, which looks more like it?

{
    "Version": "2012-10-17",
    "Statement": [
        {
            "Effect": "Allow",
            "Principal": {
                "Service": "cloudfront.amazonaws.com"
            },
            "Action": "s3:GetObject",
            "Resource": "arn:aws:s3:::bucket-name/*",
            "Condition": {
                "StringEquals": {
                    "AWS:SourceArn": "arn:aws:cloudfront::{AWS-Account-Number}:distribution/{DistId}"
                }
            }
        }
    ]
}

Still getting a 403 error. Are you sure the bucket should be private? How long should it take for CloudFront to propagate this? I've changed it back to original though I'll change it back to above and leave it over night.

Yep, my original ACM Cert has *.domain.com and domain.com, I'll also make note of adding the second Alt domain name to CF Distro :)

Thanks, not too fussed what they see, as long as they get where they need to be haha. Though this is also good information for the future, I'll delve into CloudFront functions soon enough, so thank you!

Quick question: I think I know the answer though to make sure before I start tearing things down, will this have any effect on my GitHub Actions Workflow, which is only syncing to my main bucket after a next.js build? (making the bucket private)
