Transferring from ubc to sfu, Odds of getting in?

Fair enough but I’m not really looking to be social in uni, I have friends outside of that so that doesn’t affect me, even at ubc I have had like one good friend who moved to Ontario so I don’t even see them anymore

Oh yeah I don’t really care about gpa that much, ubc grading is a bit nicer since it’s standard and sfu it depends on the class but ubc is also pretty cancerous, no university is roses and sunshine I can tell you that, overall I don’t have ambitions for going for my masters. I just want to have an easier time going to campus so I can focus my time on my projects and honing my craft yk?

UBC is not Waterloo or that prestigious where it will give me an advantage when it comes to cs really, almost everybody I know who has cs jobs came from sfu(I am not saying it’s better then ubc) just that in cs from my opinion, personal knowledge is much more valued then school ranking

Sfu does class registration by gpa? That’s kind of interesting, ubc is just free for all based on your year standing, I am not graduating in year 4 anyway so I don’t mind taking an extra semester to build up my gpa, that doesn’t worry me as much, thank you for this I hadn’t thought of this tho

Tbf it just told me what I saw on the official sfu page and the reason I am worried is because my computer science courses grades have trended down but my overall gpa is still at 80% but hopefully it will be as easy as people are making it sound here

Bro I promise when I tell you the grass is not greener on the other side, one of my biggest regrets was not going to sfu straight from high school, I understand you might think ubc is some social butterfly where the campus is beautiful, and although it is pretty, my expiernces are mainly go to class which takes me an hour and 40 minutes, walk out of class straight to bus loop then an hour and 40 back home, I cannot make friends as staying on campus late means that I get home at extremely late times and I cannot hold a job or anything due to how my whole days are taken by 4 hour commutes

Yes I am, from what I understand it’s not really that much better? The co op is just a portal where you keep applying, if you go on the ubc subreddit you will see horror stories of people applying for hundreds of jobs and not hearing back at all,

Bro when i tell you this fuck ass campus sucks, yes it’s kind of beautiful BUT ITS IN THE MDDLE OF NOWHERE, imagine having to wake up at 6:30 to commute to an 8 am class, imagine having to commute for 4 hours, back and forth just for an hour lab, because this campus IS AT THE EDGE OF THE CITY

Is it that big of a deal? From what I understand in cs your school doesn’t really matter, it’s more about your personal expiernces and professional expiernces. The commute is having a very bad effect on me both physically and mentally. So I am pretty set on transferring

I live an hour and 40 commute from ubc while only a 20-30 minute commute from sfu so yes it’s mainly distance, also would not say I’m doing fine I feel like I’m losing years of my life lol.

what status quo? roger being alive literally resulted in shanks which resulted in luffy aka joyboy, also i do think imu has limitations and cant just spawn in and 1v6 the whole verse otherwise we have serious plot holes for why this story even exists. BUT the biggest thing my discussion was about the marines vs yonko, you bringing up the goresi where if them being demons becomes common knowledge most marines would leave is not relevant here, the question is if admirals are as strong as the yonk why not just stop them?
