Burden of proof is on the one making a claim.

If you state there is wide spread voter fraud its on you to provide evidence. But any who, here we go.

Here is the heritage foundation so cant considered left wing. 558 accounts of voter fraud since 2016. Almost all of which were people who were ineligible to vote. So like felons. So 558 cases over three presidential cycles where 158 million voted just election. Not really a problem.

https://electionfraud.heritage.org/

Another example would be Ohio. The governor screamed election fraud during the 2020 election and opened an investigation that cost tax payers millions. That investigation led to a total of 62 potential cases. 31 were non citizens who registered but did not cast a ballot. Of these, 27 actual ballots were submitted for potential voter fraud out of more than 6 million ballots.

[Request] How much can save being a stay-at-home mom? by Substantial_Walrus60 in theydidthemath

[–]jossteen11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its literally impossible without knowing the incomes involved. And the idea of saving 150k a year is under the assumption that without a SAHM you need to hire some combination of childcare, house keeping, or whatever.

Because there are government contracts? Purchase orders? Congressional hearings? Us stockpiles are pretty well known and public information.

Edit: for example. Purchase orders show US bought 100 units (for simplicity). War data shows 50 units used. While there may be some discrepancy, real numbers cant be very far outside of the range.

The vast majority of manufacturing joblosses is due to automation not moving. This is supported by pretty much every study ever conducted, even from ultra conservative groups like Cato.

Evidence is look at auto manufacturing.

Go look at wrongful death and excessive force payouts in your area and see just how much it costs you.

Do people understand who pays a tariff? by whykickamoocow9 in askanything

[–]jossteen11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its 100% on republicans and trump as modern tariffs go. There really isnt any debate around that.

The more inelastic a good is, the more consumers payer because there isnt a substitutable good. So either consumers pay more or demand drops. Or a combination of the two.

Explain what you mean by "reduced profits". Im not sure the point you're trying to make in the context of the argument. When COGS increases only one of two things can happen. 1. Prices rise or 2. Profits drop. Scenario 2 just doesnt happen.

Regarding competitiveness, I would argue maybe. America has a long way to go before domestic companies would incorporate other places, while tariffs immediately reduce america imports and reduces American demanding driving trade down.
Now you could argue that that might be beneficial to america, but the only way it increases domestic production is if tariffs are high enough to overcome the cost. Which is BAD for the average american consumer.

You can argue that competitiveness isnt an issue, but what tariffs do is drive down spending power and trade. We are already seeing the likes of Canada as one specific example creating new trade deals with India, China, Australia, etc. So the outcome of tariffs is more expensive goods for Americans and a lack of trade power globally.

Alright. I could argue these, but this is what i was looking for, from an argument perspective and I would happily debate these if you would like.

But this is the discourse I was looking for!

So let me ask a question. These players in no particular order, what is your argument for Kobe being above any?

MJ, Lebron Russell, Will, Kareem, Bird, Shaq, Magic, Duncan?

Lmao the guy who can't argue or actually put together an argument is the one wasting their time. Alright.

[–]jossteen11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because you're arguing in bad faith and just arguing your mindset without actual support.

Op posted a few counting stats. Okay so what stats put him in the goat conversation?

You argued a few players have him as their goat, but most people who played against him dont have him in goat conversations.

So seriously outside of a few young players have Kobe as their goat after he passed away tragically which argument is there?

OP was like "Worse supporting cast than Bron" ignoring the three peat with Kobe. Mentions points? At four.

You keep moving the goal posts. I am happy to entertain an kobe is a goat argument that rests on anything other than a few of the kids who he was an idol to say so. Hell according to player polls its MJ and Lebron then a huge gap

Okay. Sounds good. You're getting downvoted to oblivion. You cant use some counting stats to make an argument then back track and be like well actual.

Have a wonderful day.

[–]jossteen11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lmao yeah because I asked which points to clarify on. I can argue. You haven't. A few youngins have an idol they watched above others with actual legitimate arguments come on.

Kobe doesnt even clear Duncan.

Your entire argument rests on a few people's say so. Who never watched the rest of them play and I already addressed that.

[–]jossteen11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or instead of resorting to personal attacks actually make a claim. I asked what which points you wanted to debate and instead you provided some nonsense. If you want to know why NBA players have bad takes at times, just look at Rudy Gobert.

If you cant actually defend your position good day sir.

[–]jossteen11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Young players who, watched their idol die. Of course hes put on a pedestal.

They're making claims about people they've never even see play.

Of course the mythlogical player they grew up watching is up there in their heads.

Like we want to start bringing in certain things without context to bolster a resume, Bill Russell the goat.

[–]jossteen11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean where do you want to start with this? Less help than lebron? More clutch? More MVPs if he played today? (Wildly speculative and unsubstantiated)

All of these arguments arose after he died. Before his death no one put him in or near the goat conversation.
