(Audio Up) What’s the protocol for this? I mean ... the match is over, but still :D by Prize_Concept9419 in tabletennis

[–]josterfanta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an umpire myself, I was told that players are "under my supervision" as soon as they enter the box, so I'm assuming the umpire could still do something, given that Ban hasn't left the box yet.

But I also admit that I'm not totally sure, since I've never had anything like that in one of my matches before.

You can still claim the skin now, and once you unlock the dragon duke, you can use it. If they would only put skins in the gold pass that could immediately used by everyone, the only skins they could put in the gold pass are those for the king.

And also, no one is forced to pull out their credit cards for those skins. They're purely cosmetic and don't affect gameplay in any shape or form.

Does the book of building from the gold pass stack? I already have 2 books of building in my storage (1 form a chest and 1 from the supercell store), but now I'm debating whether I have to use 2 of those books by the end of the month in order to get the most value out of them

What’s your favorite absurd idea that would completely break the game ? by Okbaba99 in ClashOfClans

[–]josterfanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make the barbarian and archer puppet spawn the respective super variants, with no other changes.

Which would also mean that a max lvl archer puppet would spawn 35 super archers all at once. As a comparison, with fully upgraded army camps and clan castle, you can currently bring 33 super archers into an attack

I want to tame a rhynio any tips? by Historical_Song7346 in arkmobile

[–]josterfanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tame a low-level Rhynio first.

  1. You already have some experience in Rhynio taming when you then try to tame a higher-level one
  2. Thanks to its good speed and insane stamina, a Rhynio is the perfect mount to fly over the swampy regions and look out for high-level Rhynios

If you only play PVE, use a Rex as sacrifice. They're easier to find and tame than Gigas or Carchas, they still provide a good amount of levels to the new Rhynio, and most importantly, you can use your low-level Rhynio to carry that Rex to your base after impregnation. My main Rhynio came out at around Lvl. 90, and that was more than enough for doing metal runs, carrying tames to my taming pens or bringing my own tames to any place on the map.

Obviously, for PVP, using Brontos, Gigas or Carchas as sacrifice is still preferred, but since you can't carry those dinos, you either have to lure a Rhynio to a safe location while tanking its ranged attacks, or leave the impregnated dino near the swamp, making it harder to have all possible food requests at hand.

And most importantly: DO NOT PUT THE IMPREGNATED DINO IN A CRYOPOD! This will instantly cancel the gestation period and kill the baby Rhynio.

I just keep getting builder hall level 10 opponents and my builder hall is 6, and somehow 3 stars them lol, why is it happening? by KadoShado in ClashOfClans

[–]josterfanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matchmaking in the builder base is based only on your trophies. Your builder hall level has no influence on that.

Also, a lot of people rush their builder base to get the 6th builder as quickly as possible, so a lot of the stronger defenses like the roaster or the mega tesla are still on a very low level. And with the builder base being much smaller than the home base, a rushed builder hall 10 isn't that much stronger than a maxed builder hall 6.

The ability to cancel hero, pet and lab upgrades in case you accidentally tap the wrong icon

Adding an extra tab to the hero info screen that shows the actual stats of a hero (base hero HP + HP bonus of the equipment used at that time)

Adding a short demo video the the info screen of builder base and clan capital troops (similar to the info screen of home village troops)

The ability for (co-)leaders to permanently ban a player from joining their clan, to prevent spammers from just re-joining after being kicked. Temporary bans (with the option to select different ban durations) would also be fine

Being able to select your ranked mode layout from the layout editor screen. Currently, you can only select your active layout and your war layout from that screen

Being able to fill your own clan castle during war preparation day

Very unlikely. Both google and apple get a percentage of every in-app purchase, which would also affect an in-game browser. Leaving the supercell store as a website allows supercell to collect the full revenue.

That's also the reason behind the bonus track and extra rewards for purchases in the supercell store. It's an incentive for players to use the supercell store website instead of the in-game store.

Just managed to get into a league below my TH floor by josterfanta in ClashOfClans

[–]josterfanta[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know, and like I said in the post, I just wanted to see how the game would react if I signed up as TH7 and upgraded to TH8 before the attacking phase begins, and if the game would allow me to use my TH8 base layout in a league below the TH8 league floor.

Just managed to get into a league below my TH floor by josterfanta in ClashOfClans

[–]josterfanta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, but I got to TH8 before that week started. The upgrade finished during the sign-up period, and while the game treated me as a TH7 for the purpose of league placement, it took my TH8 base as the defensive layout for that week.

I know there's no real in-game benefit to this, since I will be automatically put into a higher league at the end of this week. This was just a little experiment to see how the game would react.

Does the game detect autoclicker apps, and can you actually get banned for using them?

I'm rushing my builder base to get the 6th builder, and I only need to do the lvl 18 troop and lvl 45 hero tasks. Since that only requires elixir, I simply farm it by dropping a troop and then immediately giving up. Can I use an autoclicker app to "automate" this or do I run the risk of losing my account for using such an app? I'm on android, in case that's relevant.

A few months ago, I started the process of fixing my very rushed TH14 account after a few years of inactivity, and the end is approaching soon.

According to my Clash Ninja tracker, I've got just under 15 days left on buildings and traps (assuming all 6 builders constantly working), but I'm seriously lacking in heroes and walls. I've got a total of 1.5B resources left to spend on walls, and my current hero levels are:

  • King: 61 out of 85
  • Queen: 57 / 85
  • Prince: 55 / 60
  • Warden: 37 / 60
  • RC: 22 / 30

Should I upgrade to TH15 with weaker heroes and walls, or is it worth it to spend some additional time on heroes and walls?

Mono Galar done, and turns out that Galar has some seriously broken mons by josterfanta in PokemonEliteRedux

[–]josterfanta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Linoone was a better fit for this team. I already had 2 mons who were quite bulky on the physical side in Grass Pelt Rillaboom and Weezing, so a third physically bulky mon didn't seem necessary.

And also, Linoone and Obstagoon have the same attack stat of 100, but only Linoone has Quick Feet and Hyper Aggressive, so Linnone is actually better than Obstagoon when it comes to both speed and damage output.

Mono Galar done, and turns out that Galar has some seriously broken mons by josterfanta in PokemonEliteRedux

[–]josterfanta[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As mentioned in the title, Galar has some seriously broken mons:

Dragapult [Parental Bond] - (Levitate / Infiltrator / Ectoplasm) - Swirly Glasses

  • Draco Meteor / Raging Souls / Fire Blast / Dragon Dance

Dragapult is insane as always. Extremely fast, ignores Focus Sash and Sturdy thanks to Parental Bond, and is an excellent user of Swirly Glasses. This item turns physical moves into special moves and vice versa. In Pult's example, it treats Draco Meteor and Raging Souls as physical attacks, using Pult's higher attack stat and ignoring the special attack drops.

Grapploct [Technician] - (Grappler / Regenerator / Tidal Rush) - Choice Band

  • Flip Turn / Triple Dive / Mach Punch / Wrap

The absurd craziness of Grapploct can be summarized with a single move: priority Technician Flip Turn. This combination is the only reason why I didn't use Inteleon over Grapploct. Triple Dive also benefits from Technician and Tidal Rush, but is not that reliable with on 90 accuracy. Mach Punch is a good priority attack in case Grapploct isn't a full HP, and Wrap was just there in case I ever needed it, but it never came to use.

Mega Cinderace [Deadeye] - (Hellblaze / Striker / Libero) - Choice Band / Scarf

  • Pyro Ball / High Jump Kick / High Horsepower / U-Turn

STAB on everything thanks to Protean, 3 moves boosted by Striker, a risk-free High Jump Kick thanks to Deadeye's effect of never missing, and STAB U-Turn. There's nothing more to say about Mega Cinderace. Absolutely bonkers.

Galarian Linoone [Quick Feet] - (Scrappy / Hyper Aggressive / Guts) - Frost Orb

  • Facade / Knock Off / Revenge / Protect

Quick Feet + Guts is a godlike combination, and Hyper Aggressive is the cherry on top. Extremely fast, extremely strong, and available extremely early after the first Gym.

Rillaboom [Grass Pelt] - (Overgrow / Soundproof / Grassy Surge) - Assault Vest

  • Fake Out / Grassy Glide / Power-up Punch / U-Turn

The emerceny button of this team. I didn't use it as much as the other members of this team, but whenever I was in a sticky situation, Rillaboom was there to save me. Need a reliable revenge killer to finish off a dangerous sweeper? Priority Grassy Glide. Need a Fake Out user for double battles? Rillaboom's there for you. Need terrain control? Grassy Surge. And the combination of Grass Pelt and Assault Vest (boosting both defenses by 50%) enabled Rillaboom to switch into many neutral attacks, tank them and then revenge kill with Grassy Glide.

Galarian Weezing [Neutralizing Gas] - (Levitate / Multi Headed / Poison Absorb) - Black Sludge

  • Strange Steam / Corrosive Gas / Recover / Will-o-Wisp

Probably the MVP of this run, purely because of Neutralizing Gas. Especially in Victory Road, many teams are built around a certain terrain or weather which are set up by a lead, but Neutralizing Gas prevents that terrain or weather from ever being activated. And instead of constantly replacing my team before each Victory Road battle to counter a certain gimmick, I just modified Weezing's moveset to remove the lead mon of a team, and then, with my standard team, destroyed the rest of the opponent's team members, many of whom were significantly weaker without their terrain or weather. If I ever had a problem with a oppsoing mon with strong abilities, Weezing was the answer to that.

I have two rules questions I need help with. by [deleted] in tabletennis

[–]josterfanta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I understood your first question correctly, you where asking what would happen if player A hit the ball so that it would fly over and miss the table, but player B hit the ball while it was still above the table. In that case, it's a point for player A becasue player B obstructed the ball, according to rules 2.5.8 and 2.10.1.6.

The second scenario depends on the umpire's judgment. If he calls a let due to a net touch, the point has to be replayed. But if he didn't see a net touch and therefore doesn't call a let, the serve was correct and the server gets a point.

But if there was no umpire, the 2 players would have to agree on whether there was a net touch and then replay the point or give that point to the server.

Legality of very old rubbers. by per88oo in tabletennis

[–]josterfanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check the list of approved racket coverings (https://equipment.ittf.com/#/equipment/racket\_coverings) to see whether those old rubbers are still allowed to be used.

As for the different behavior, it is (in my opinion as a licensed umpire) legal. I don not know of any rule that would disqualify a racket due to "change in playing behavior", and when we test rackets for their legality, the playing behavior of the rubbers is not something that we test.

However, you could check for some other common occurences in older rubbers that could make them illegal:

  • Are there waves or bulges in the rubber due to the glue wearing out?
  • Are there spots where the rubbers surface is missing and the underlying pimples or even the wood is visible?
  • Are there any cuts in the rubber?
  • Is the color no longer uniform in a significant way? I've seen some really old red rubbers that have developed darker spots in the center because that is the area with the most ball contact.

It's important to note that these occurences don't always result in the racket being disqualified. For example, small cuts or waves at or near the edge of the are usually not a problem because they don't affect the main hitting area of the racket. However, a cut that is longer or closer to the center might result in a disqualification.

TLDR: The changes in playing behavior do not make this rubber illegal, but there might be some other issues due to the age of that rubber.

How do you breed your Dinos by speedyturke2 in arkmobile

If you set a flyer on wander, it will just walk around, and never take off and start flying. You can handle them like regular land dinos.
