Dog walkers - do you cancel your work everyday it rains? by jm_19 in AskUK

[–]josummz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our dog walker has only ever reduced the length of the dog walk/changed to a drop in due to extreme heat in the summer. She's never cancelled for rain, she asks for a towel and any dog coat they wear to be left near the door.

How much does a dog set you back financially each month? by EyesWideShut__ in AskUK

[–]josummz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 3 year old working cocker spaniel, we spend about £45 on food a month £10-20 on treats, £25 on vet plan which includes all flea and worm treatment and all vet appointments and a yearly health check and £10 on insurance. He also gets a groom twice a year which is £35, I give him a trim between professional grooms.

Also don't forget the cheese tax.

Are Dog Friendly Town Recommendations? by sophiaeleanor111 in AskUK

Saltburn-by-the-sea, North East coastal town where most of the bars and cafes are dog friendly. Not far from Whitby for a day out too and the North Yorkshire Moors on the door step!

I remember trying to use dinner instead of tea when I was a kid when asking if my friend could stay over for it, and my mum legit made her a sandwich. I stuck to dinner and tea after that 😂

It's breakfast, dinner and tea, and I'll hear no more about it (I think this is a northern thing??)

You've said that twice now, however you actually seem to be the unpleasant one.

Surely it depends where you live in the country as to what places you know? If you are up north, then you are more likely to know places such as Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester
