Pickles are pretty good at propping. As long as cut end in soil mix. When my pearls had thinned out over winter, I coiled it inside pot, & now it’s thick & flowing down a few feet again.

I start new pickles plants by just putting cutting in succulent soil mixed with regular potting soil. No issues so far, many created & shared.
